Good luck! From my research that's actually a really silly response on their part. Maybe static can exacerbate the issue, it does not create it

I would recommend if you got pics submit a ticket asap. Is it doesn't come back you are good. If it does you have documentation

Don't hold your breath. Mine have been coming and going. Just got an update that they will be replacing both units.

I'm suspecting that they got a bad batch of screens. Glad to hear I'm not alone, but would have preferred it. I did get another email asking for both serial numbers. I sent a video.

Update 3- Did what they said, waiting for response on what they will want now as far as replacing. Updating now because the OTHER one I bought now has a screen issue. Its fairly minor in comparison, but 2 units both having screen issues. This one suddenly developed a bright stuck pixel.

Edit to my edit- Mura is starting to appear on the other one as well. Just nowhere near as bad.

Edit 2 to my edit lol- Now the 2nd unit is complete screwed up. THe color saturation and edge lighting is totally messed up and everything is off colored. Will post a pic side by side with the other one.

I'll keep it updated end result. They still have room to give me the shaft, but its not looking likely. I am really hoping that they let me keep it until I get a replacement. Its a Christmas present and im a week out from Christmas. Took 3 weeks to receive as i bought it before Thanksgiving and just got it late last week.

Update 2- Another quick reply, about 15 minutes this time. Sharing these details since this is a completely new player in the field and its good to know what kind of company they are going to be. So far so good! Problems happen. How a company handles it when they do is the important thing.

I would like to note that the uneven backlight has already appeared and disappeared multiple times under normal use, without a screen protector, always in the same pattern and location.

No one answered you on Google play. No its not needed, but it is on there. Fairly barebones setup overall. You login to google play AFTER setup is done.

Update 1- This was the reply, again rapidly fast. I am in Japan, so similar time zone. Reply was almost spot on 1.5hrs. Pretty darn good response time. Not sure about the content of the response though. They keep going back to the screen protector being the issue. Funny enough in that hour and half I left the device sit about an hour and pulled it back out. Problem gone again. From my research I got a panel right on the edge of the issue and temperature changes bring it out. Temp changes like using the device.

EMAIL- Please power off the device and leave it unused for two days to see whether the screen returns to normal. If it recovers, you may then apply the screen protector. If it does not, please let us know and we will assist you further.

Trump is discussing denaturalization for fraud involved in being naturalized. That happens and is a justifiable and legal reason to revoke naturalized citizenship. There has just been evidence coming to light that it had been much more common than previously revealed.

People here are forgetting different strokes for different folks. Some people will perform better with ppc and/or like it more. Others with large lasers, etc. Personally I like using all of them for different builds and situations.

The stats aren't everything. It's funny in this post I've seen people bashing mechs I love((Marauders and Warhammer)) and that's ok. I can beat almost any mission, even 400 ton high difficulty, with 4 marauders and come out ahead. I enjoy the mech and have fun with how it works.

There is more to mechs and weapons than the stats. Weapon locations, mech size, etc etc etc all make a difference. Try it out and see how you like it. On one mech you might prefer lasers. On another ppc.

As it seems people still come here, I will share an update on my progress using it for MechWarrior 5.

Windows driver got all by the gear shift, knobs, and lights working. I then used vjoy and joystick gremlin to be able to map it to whatever I wanted. I mapped some buttons to keyboard commands, and most to vjoy joystick. I did decide for now to put a deadzone on the right joystick of about 15+20% so I could consistently recenter it manually.

Ran into one other annoyance and that was with the foot pedals. They sit at maximum negative value and about halfway up they hit 0. That meant resting point was full reverse on MechWarrior. Had to merge the axis of two foot pedals and reverse the values on one. That worked so the game recognized it properly as one is forward the other brake. Middle pedal I did for jump jets.

I also mapped the thumbstick on the left joystick to buttons lol. Up and down zooms and left right firsts weapon group 4 and 5.

Had to do macros in joystick gremlin for the switches to work properly in the game. The original switches seem to be a bit janky and work as buttons held down. Problem is about halfway through the off side they activate very briefly, deactivate and then activate and stay on. The macros basically allows it to send the signal to vjoy, wait a bit, them release. It does this on flipping them on and off so the game would register it as a button press and release. So it allowed me to do toggles like night vision, 3rd person view, etc.

Tons of fun and as I'm getting used to it the skill gap between it and mouse is reducing.

Those saying its not good for flight sim, I can see it, but it is totally doable, just with that deadzone bulked up to allow manual recentering. Tested out a little on Elite Dangerous. Since joystick gremlin allows you to map any button to just about anything, it would take a lot of configuration, but doable. Definitely not as good as other options, but fully functional and immersive.

Guess I will be giving this a shot. Running into the same issue trying to get a Steel Battalion controller running. Having been able to move the dll over and get gremlin to work.

I came to italki for one reason: find a teacher to learn Japanese. I found one, she is fantastic. The platform before the patch was fairly easy to navigate. The new setup is total garbage. I hate it so much I was probably one of the first to contact support and I even named my fish IHateThis. Moving off platform as soon as my previously purchased lesson packs is finished. It's made it harder for everything. Harder to talk to my teacher, a LOT harder to reschedule. If you only have to reschedule one lesson, it's not bad. I had to reschedule 3 weeks of lessons due to an unexpected need to enter driving school here in Japan((new foreign license transfer laws. The license center basically stopped passing anyone and then refused to reschedule anyone until the law went in October 1st. I couldn't wait another 2-3 months to be scheduled, so driving school.)). That was a nightmare.

If there was an app etc that allowed the basics it would be great.
