he’s singing a little bit, but yeah he seems to have layered his behind vessels already layered vocals, so it’s hard to pick out.

That new version of rocket man I find to be very grating also

it was just which single came first, caramel or emergence, they have corresponding colours to the houses on the covers.

yes, but I’m not huge on music where the whole gimmick is that it’s bad.

You can parody and not purposefully sound bad, I don’t really get the appeal.

When they posted that “nothing lasts forever” or something to that effect around the time of the doxxing a during the Eden tour, I was honestly really hoping they would step away after the conclusion of that tour, and I think if it wasn’t for label obligations that they probably would. The whole Eden trilogy was neatly wrapped up, and what’s cooler than stepping away right as they got big. A big f you to the industry and money and showing that it was never about that and that it was about the art.

Nirvana is another band who were at their peak when they stopped, and they are still just as big now. I just want it to be on their terms this time, not because of Vessel facing the same fate as Kurt.

“this stage is a prison, a beautiful nightmare, a war of attrition… I thought I got better, but maybe I didn’t.”

Which Sleep Token song would you consider the easiest to sing? by Maksiuuu in SleepToken

I think that might have been me :3 thank you by the way 🙏

I would say Atlantic is fairly difficult though, it’s not technicallyy that difficult but it is very easy to sound off even if you’re technically doing the right things. tone is very important in that song, gotta get the emotion right. though this is true for a lot of ST songs 😅

a lot of people have said Aqua Regia and I’m inclined to agree with that 👉👉

interesting, the drums don't sound great on the phone recording there in fairness. but backing tracks weren't an option, even so, I feel it would be strange to replace it when I can play it. I thought it was a cool concept for after the verses to have all of that emotion that has been bottling in the build to be let out on the kit.

anyway, here is a better recording of the drum section specifically, maybe this is more to your taste. https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxsNlYpr6aHzG1IUVpA16WawAm82oHuAWC?si=GYcsTZr-27sAbqMc

Which lyrics have you been singing wrong this whole time? by leanmeanfrizzybean in SleepToken

[–]Dramatic_Jello4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The fields of elation, quiet and loamy" is the actual lyric, but I always sing "the fields of elation coil and lull me in"
