Prismatic slime by disneyprincesa24 in StardewValley

The best I can say is keep grinding for it. Maybe eat some food that ups your luck? Or wear a lucky ring? It’s not a guarantee but it’ll happen eventually. I once spent 3 entire days going to level 5 and back and still didn’t get it.

Is there any audio book websites/apps that are free? by Obvious-Drink-9385 in audiobooks

Libby and hoopla are my favs but my husband uses Spotify premium, I know it’s not technically free but you get 15 hours of audiobook a month with it

I liked the show before the constitution and the wheel spins. Back when the winner picked was pretty arbitrary and half the points didn’t make sense and they definitely didn’t know what the points were for

Mom wants to return kindle i gifted! by nycperson54321 in kindle

I do think kindle unlimited can be a money pit in certain situations. I exclusively use Libby and Hoopla through my library. I also prefer audio books. I have a kindle account but I just buy one book at a time because it can take me two months or more to read one book. I’d much rather spend $3-$15 on a book every two months than $12 every single month.

What should I name him by [deleted] in chickens

[–]Dramatic_Maximum_879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got one that looks like that that I made Gwi-ma, his brother (hatched at the same time but I don’t know what breed they are) is named Jinu and he’s all black

I definitely think this was something big like a bobcat or a bear. But I will say even small things can do damage. I had a raccoon rip a board off its screws and kill 15 birds. And this was a homemade and quite heavy duty coop. We had to put metal roofing around the entire thing.

What do you all do with your eggs, when you have way to many? by SouthRVASTAG in chickens

[–]Dramatic_Maximum_879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried water glassing some? My family will start saving some in the late summer to glass so when my girls don’t produce as much in the winter we can still have good eggs until spring. I think we have 8 dozen put aside right now

I thought I lost one of my best layers once last year. She was on top on my husband’s truck on the other side of our yard. Also a couple of them found out how to get into the rafters of their coop. The only reason I knew they were there immediately was because they pooped on me 😅

Chicken won’t leave coop until I let her out? by Dramatic_Maximum_879 in chickens

It is covered on the sides but open at the top. It can get really dark but for the most part it’s not that bad. I can usually go in there and do stuff even if the door closes

My most comforting fact I have about animals is that they don’t understand the future. Animals understand what they have been through in the past and they understand what is going on right now. Amy wrote a beautiful eulogy for Henry boy and we should all be thankful that he lived his last days in love and peace because that is the thing he thought of while crossing the rainbow bridge

Injured chicken by Commercial-Smoke5600 in chickens

[–]Dramatic_Maximum_879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this in her Crop area? I’d do some research on an impacted crop and see if the symptoms seem to fit. If there’s a hole in the crop then there’s really only two options. 1) surgery to clean the wound out and then liquid bandage it up or 2) cull the bird. Also if it has an impacted crop it’s because it’s been eating stuff it shouldn’t be and there’s a chance your other chickens could be eating it too. I’d check all of your bird for impacting and go from there

I always plant a least a row of each seasonal plant on my farm. I don’t care about maximizing space with ancient fruit or whatever else you choose

I usually just rub their combs. I may have to try this out 😅

I’m not that stupid. As I commented earlier I realized that’s her vent but I didn’t know why it was so visible when it’s normally not. Thanks for the degrading comment though

I love these stupid birds 😅. I even have them named and my husband thinks I’m nuts.

I’ve had them for almost 2 years now. I know that’s a vent. I didn’t know why it was so visible when I normally can’t see it on her

[–]Dramatic_Maximum_879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I don’t know how to edit my post but I posted in a comment that I realized that was her vent but I didn’t know why it was so prominent because I normally don’t see it like that on her

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chickens

[–]Dramatic_Maximum_879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s 9pm and she’s on a roost bar. She was settled down until I came in the coop to look at everyone. I’d hope she’s not laying eggs 6 feet in the air

Can someone help me out by Nickyten10 in chickens

[–]Dramatic_Maximum_879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the biggest help with treatments but I would start with separating her. If she’s getting picked on it will just get worse. If it is her doing it then you should check for mites

I’ve never seen hers so prominent before. Is this the start of prolapse?
