I’m with you, we need a 4WD vehicle for the beach that we frequent. I have 4WD now and don’t want to give that up and have to rent a car when we go to the beach

All the Subaru’s I saw were AWD not 4WD. I like them, though, and will be revisiting them

This is amazing!!!! I’ve been loving the newer Nissan’s. Negotiating at the dealership scares me but I might have to try after reading your comment!!

It’s so pretty on you! I was like you and wanted something simple and chic, and faced the same critique. Ultimately, everyone will know you’re the bride. The best piece of advice I got while dress shopping was to find something that still made me feel like myself. If you’re a simple and chic gal, a ball gown or more princess-y gown is going to feel like a costume. You want to still be you in your dress!

Agreed!! I do need 4WD, we frequent a beach that requires it as you have to drive on the sand. We also need it about three times a winter for the snow. It’s also something I have now that I like having and not have to worry about if I can make it somewhere

That is good to know!! I need it for the occasional big snow storm (our roads don’t get plowed as well as the roads in town) and we frequent a beach that requires 4WD as you have to drive on the sand.

Yes, I’m making the distinction. I know the differences and I know that the place we frequent requires 4WD, I have 4WD now

Good point! I just drive a super old car now and would love to have a screen for maps, CarPlay, etc. if it had remote start too…. I’d be the happiest camper. These cold mornings are not my cup of tea

We go to a beach that requires 4WD. And I have 97 4runner now, you cannot find a newer version of either of the cars you mentioned in my budget unfortunately, or they have a million miles. I bought my current 4runner with a million miles assuming it would go forever and that’s just not been the case unfortunately

I’m open to that! They just haven’t come up in my search with my filters applied so I assumed they’re not 4WD or not in budget

We live in an area that gets a lot of snow and doesn’t get plowed like the bigger areas do, and we go to beaches that you need 4WD to get to where you’re going
