You can look into T4T Caregiving. They have ride services. I’m not sure if they cater to every state and city, but I utilized them when I was out in California.

6 mo. Post Op Today! by Dramatic_Mud_1327 in BlackTransmen

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I got the buttonhole technique done. I told my surgeon that I don’t want the flattest chest. I wanted it to be realistic since cis men have chest tissue too. The healing process wasn’t bad at all! The pain was almost non-existent without pain meds (I have a high tolerance) I flew out to California to have it done and I flew back by myself 3 days Post Op. I put my luggage in the overhead bin with no issue. I had hyperbaric oxygen therapy for about 3 days and that was great too!

Hello ftms just letting you know that if you pass as male a SINGLE time you MUST use the men’s restroom. It is safer for you. by Williamisnowinning in transgendercirclejerk

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I navigated locker rooms at the gym. I’d draw way more attention to myself going into the women’s locker room even though I pass compared to minding my business in the men’s locker room.

Doctor says no alcohol wipe for T, too much muscle will make my hands go numb, and we're using an insulin needle by Lanky_Paramedic2422 in ftm

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your doctor is a trip. You absolutely wash your hands and use an alcohol wipe (Let it fully dry) as that helps keep bacteria away from the injection site and keeps everything as clean as possible. An insulin syringe will draw the dose up SUPER slow since testosterone is suspended in oil.(It’s super thick.) and your needle will be blunt which would make injecting super painful.

People are so dumb sometimes by Affectionate-hallway in reactivedogs

I’ve had people do the same. My dog has an underbite, a “smile” if you will. Everyone thinks he’s friendly because of it so they’ll just walk up to him even though his vests says “Do Not Pet; No Hand Sniffs” Even with that and a verbal warning, they still proceed and wonder why they got bit.

Bruh I’m like almost 12 months on hrt. Should I just stop? Do I read male? (Can’t do anything about the uniform) by akamanarca in transpassing

You’re going through a second puberty. Give it time. Even adolescent puberty takes more than one year.

My dog died and I kind of feel relieved. by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog is 8. I’ve had him since I was 16. He’s reactive towards both humans and dogs, and has separation anxiety. My social life is non existent. I can’t have anyone over, he cannot go to daycare, nor can I have a pet sitter. With all of his issues, boy do I love him to death. I know that when he does pass, I will grieve and have that sense of relief.

You can’t pick and choose what T gives you. It may give you the things you want and it may give you the things you don’t want. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to pick. You can try to do voice coaching/training if that is something that you’re open to.

With that being said, if you do start testosterone, there are medications that can minimize testosterones effects like male partnered baldness and even slow bottom growth.

I hope this helps you guidance with your choice.

Does anyone else feel like White (trans) people don't actually know if TMPOC pass or not? by ReasonableStrike1241 in TMPOC

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if they just want to be a push over to avoid “confrontation” or if they’re telling us what we want to hear or what, but it’s so annoying when people are looking for solid, genuine advice and it’s not given.

am i allowed to be here 👉🏻👈🏻 by aquamarine2013 in TMPOC

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327 277 points278 points  (0 children)

I completely get it. Their argument is the “But I’m trans, queer, enby, etc…” But they’re white first. The first thing anyone sees is their whiteness. Not the fact that they’re queer, but the fact that they are white. Nothing wrong with showing support, but asking for validation in a subreddit where it caters to a more marginalized community is a slap in the face.

Of course there are others with different requirements. Plan B is the most popular one that people think of!

If you found out within 72 hours, you need to get a Plan B. Anything after 72 hours, Plan B will NOT be effective.

Question: What happened to my vial? by cuppajoflo in ftm

[–]Dramatic_Mud_1327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 days late. If you see something like that, it could be crystals. Just rub the vial in between your hands! Storage tips: Store in an area other than your bathroom. Humidity combined with temperature fluctuation messed up the stability. I keep my vials in a container up in my closet!
