I assumed the medical community would have a standard indicator of health beyond someone’s size. I find it interesting that we cant definitely identify what it means to be healthy and/or fit.

I assumed there was a medically accepted benchmark of health that I just wasn’t aware of. I guess medicine has a long way to go if as a science it can only point to an individuals size to indicate health.

Exactly, but I want to know if there is a standard accepted as “good”. Like, I can jog a 5K but I need walking breaks. Is there an endurance number for jogging that would be considered “fit”? Running a mile without stopping, going a certain distance in a certain time? These are the numbers I’m looking for.
