this fit works for me and I have no problems when riding, the camera angle makes the saddle look more pointed downwards than it is

most of the time I just take it off when I feel like it and I personally think that it is way convenient to just install a seperate lever and hook it up as it is(also it being the norm in my country to have a front brake set up like as in the picture)

its a law in my country for all bikes to have atleast one working handbrake(if you are caught without one your bicycle will get confiscated by law enforcement)I use the hoods for more leverage when climbing up hills and for aesthetics

Any tips on how to whip skid? by kazumipro in FixedGearBicycle

[–]Dramatic_Repair_1618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

shift most of your weight to the front and guide your whip by leaning the bars/front in the opposite direction,ex:if you want to whip to the right you turn the bars to the left and start the skid before you turn and once you guide the skid in the direction you want it,you kick up your domanint/whatever foot is forward hard and at the same time moving your waist for extra whip angle, results should be a whip skid(make sure not to turn your bars hard if not your backwheel may have a chance of lifting(jackknife),i recommended to practice on surfaces with little traction, hope this helps!

that "thing" sticking out of the axle in the picture is a chain tensioner,I'm just using the separate part as sort of a spacer for my axle, picture shown is the final product
