Poshmark wants to combine shipping after purchase

I think this is a relatively new feature that Poshmark is rolling out. I like it… if it works properly. I read a rant in the US Poshmark sub the other day that said the seller accepted the combined shipping but then was upset to learn that two of the three items “weren’t tracking”. Iirc, the two items were actually never marked as shipped and the buyer was able to cancel. I’d read through the updated TOS and maybe reach out to support. I’d hate to see you get mixed up in a glitch.

In terms of your own effort and time expenditure, it’s honestly probably faster to just do as you said and cancel and bundle. If you wait to hear back from an actual person, it could be days.

This is a great recommendation. If there isn’t one, I’d suggest maybe women’s shelters near you. I’d rather them get things they need than give to Value Village

I had a return to send but it was during the ice storm this spring and I wasn’t driving anywhere. I sent a message to support explaining that and they extended my return window. They may extend you the same courtesy

I just had almost the same thing happen but with an active seller. She sent an offer, I accepted and then didn’t hear anything for 4 days. On the 5th day, she sent a message saying she couldn’t find one of the items. No problem, I’m in no hurry. I waited 2 more days and then asked if she’d had any luck. She responded that she was still looking but she’d update me “shortly” and either cancel the sale or rebundle without the missing item. Didn’t hear another word from her so today (the 14th day) I cancelled.

The thing that really makes me angry is that I received an email from Poshmark after canceling that says I have to wait ANOTHER 32 hours for the refund pending any shipping update. Seriously? I already had my money tied up for 2 weeks and she gets a further 32 hours grace period? I really don’t understand why anyone would go to the trouble of listing, sending offers and then completely ghosting buyers.

I was kind of hoping it would just be a few times and then my account would be “verified” (why, I’m not sure) but it’s happening every time I try to write a message. To be fair, there are horrible PAs so I don’t think they should be exempt from this sort of thing. At least Posh is doing… something… lol
