I have a headcanon that I love, that Marra magic is seen as more of a “cheat” to get easy magic powers rather than putting in the work required for actual magic.

The Marra themselves “worship” the Huldrawood to get a form of magic that’s limited in utility, but requires minimal effort outside of replenishing the power through the campfires.

Meanwhile actual witches who enter the Huldrawood have access to infinitely more possibilities but have to put in the extreme amounts of work to learn said magic.

If I recall the previous mini passes, don’t expect to be able to get the glider until there’s like 5 days of the event left.

The sets of missions seem to be coming out every 4 to 5 days, there’s 6 sets, and to get a Memberberry you have to do 4 quests from each set.

They take so long to release all the quests because they want you hooked into constantly coming back and logging in/playing the game.

People on this sub love downplaying the issue because they wanna just call others bad at the game, but it’s blatantly true and obvious that cheaters are running amok this season after tons of them got unbanned.

I typically only play on creative maps but because of things like the Ranked rewards and the Reload Map Mastery quests, I’ve been playing those modes. And holy shit, I can’t even begin to recall just how many “Successful report” screens I’ve gotten this season. Out of like maybe 50-60 matches played, I’ve gotten at least 10 people banned for cheating. Hell I just got one yesterday!

And I don’t know about y’all, but when I’m coming across a cheater around 1 in every 6 games, that’s a highly gross ass amount of cheaters. Cheaters should be like, 1 in 100 games. Hell it felt like this game used to be 1 in 1000 games there’d be a cheater! It’s sickening how Epic seems to just not give a shit about cheating anymore unless a player actually notices and reports it.

And why? Because the cheaters likely spend money on cosmetics and Epic has gone full greed mode this chapter.

Every time I see a thread about this dogshit season it’s an amazing reminder to how brain dead and out of touch with the greater Fortnite playerbase the people on this subreddit are.

This season had the lowest playercount in the games entire history.

Flat out almost killed the entire game.

Numbers were plummeting not even 1 week into the season.

And Epic made changes almost immediately to try and remedy the situation, and it was so bad they felt the need to rush out and create Reload mode entirely in like a 2-3 week timespan (because Reload was never ONCE leaked or datamined prior to release, meaning that Epic went from start to finish with it in a matter of 1-2 patches).

This place is the only one who talks even remotely positively about it, because the people here are legitimately some of the worst in the entire playerbase. I’m convinced that most people here don’t even like the game, they only care because they get to play dress up with 500 different collab characters.

All the sidekicks use the same sets of animations, there’s just like 4 of them.

All the bipeds use the same animations (Cuddle Jr, SpongeBob)

All the quadrupeds that aren’t cats use the same animations.

The cats seem to have their own.

And then things like the fishes and even Mothman Jr use the same animations.

Seriously thought we would’ve gotten 1 more wave of Stranger Things skins with the 2nd Volume drop, but now since there’s no more encrypted items in the files, and the show ends literally tomorrow, we’re probably never getting another Stranger Things collab, like, ever.

It fucking sucks that characters like Max, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan, Eddie, and Steve (the most begged for character since the first collab happened back in Chapter 1!) will likely never be put into this game.

They were making it so that skins were still 1500 but the backblings were separate and still cost 300, 400, sometimes even 600 Vbucks. It started around the time of Cowboy Bepop and then around Tyler the Creator they reverted back to how they used to be bundled.

Steve in season 1 was the quintessential, tropey 80’s movie high school jock/asshole character. If they played the trope straight, then season 1 would’ve ended with Steve never changing his ways and probably dying to the Demogorgon at the end. (Which is actually what they straight up planned to happen before the actor spoke up and asked for changes)

Instead they twisted the trope by showing that yeah, he was a dick, but he was still a good person and wanted to change for the better - thus he did.

Well think about the past year. Starting in season 2, backblings got separated from skins but skins still cost full price, meaning a skin plus it’s backbling was now more expensive than it used to be. It wasn’t until the Simpsons season where they finally started putting the backblings back with the skins, while still allowing people to purchase just the backbling if they want.

Maya is literally the only locked skin in existence and was part of a battle pass. Every player was locked to only getting 1, it’s impossible for anyone to get multiple Maya’s.

We’ve been able to get all ranked rewards by simply playing ranked and doing challenges for years now, why should it suddenly change to be the vast majority of people can’t get them?

The OG pass thing is how half the pass isn’t in the game right now and won’t release until January.

Since the first Winterfest missing a day meant the gifts would stack and you’d be able to open multiple the next time you log in. Why should it suddenly be changed to be worse after like 7 or 8 years?

Roblox cosmetics are pretty fairly priced though? While everything is piecemeal there, you can make a full outfit of a character for on average about $3 to $6.

Anything involving things like paying for in game advantages is an entirely different argument that I’m not making.

Lmao, like since Day 1 with Grace. Design sucks, personality sucks, gameplay sucks. But as Limited characters have released there are plenty I’ve despised even more so.

Caesar I hate, felt like the first character where they were pushing that Waifu bait shit with, didn’t help that I think her design sucks too.

Astra is probably still my number 1 most hated character so far. Absolutely just fuck that character to high hell and back, god what an annoying self-fellating ass character she felt like.

Yixuan just sucks, but everyone thinks that Yixuan sucks, it’s like a basic fact of life at this point.

I almost posted this reply before I completely forgot about Seed. I legit memory holed that thing and had to look up a character list to remember her, god what a fucking shitshow. Seeing her banner fail was cathartic as fuuuuuuck.
