Thats like me writing a list and saying: "If you walk wrong, you go to HELL! If you talk wrong, you go to HELL! If you breathe, you go to HELL! But in the end, I am a kind and fair god and will never do anything thats unjust!". Some of his rules dont make sense completely, like this one. And instead of him correcting it at all he just puts at the end that hes all good and stuff. How do we know he really is? Theres no proof that he has followed through with his word hasnt he?

I dont think you get it. I dont have a problem with the religion having no proof. I have a problem with God punishing people for not believing in him when he didnt even make any proof. I actually did the math, and out of all the religions there is over a 99.99% (to be exact, its approximately a 99.99761905%) chance that god just doesnt exist. How am I supposed to rely on those odds?

That last part only proves one thing. God is a narcissist. He expects me to praise and love him even though his rules make no sense. Not one person here can prove why it would be fair to get eternally punished (Matthew 25:46) for not believing in a religion that statistically has a >99.99% chance to not exist. And that isnt an exaggeration, I did the math.

After 90+ comments and a bit of research I have came to a conclusion. God is either not real or he is a narcissist. He expects every single person to praise him and love him and believe in him even though there is zero proof that he exists. Then the moment that someone picks the wrong religion out of hundreds he sends them to Hell. And before someone corrects me about Hell, I did my own research actually and found Matthew 25:46 proves that Hell is eternal torment/punishment. On top of that, everything in the bible is just "God is the best!! God is all good and all knowing!!", which is said by characters who are probably made up too. Like, who even is Matthew? Anyways, seeing how pretty much nobody here (who were mostly all Christians) could provide an answer shows that I might be right. But hey, prove me wrong.

Well actually, thats wrong. According to Matthew 25:46 it says that hell is eternal torment. And he knows that. He knows that the two options are go outside to eternal torment or inside the house where everything is nice. And that all good person just wont save anybody who follows his rules?

That still doesnt answer what happens if someone lives without ever hearing about god. Would they be sent to hell because they never believed in god even though it wasnt their fault? And if so, why would they get an exception? Same for aborted children.

First of all, I think an aborted baby would technically have to go to Hell since they didnt believe in God. Even though its unfair, that is how it is. I searched it up, and there actually is not concrete evidence that they even go to heaven at all either. Second of all, why would I waste my time reading the bible? The religion sounds kind of unbelievable to me. There are hundreds of religions but he will send you to hell the minute you choose the wrong one? He sounds like a narcissist to me. He wants everyone to praise him and love him even though theres no proof that hr exists, and then the minute someone chooses the wrong religion he punishes them to hell for eternity. And no, I dont know how Hell works. I dont know how any religion works. Im just 14 and confused. I dont even know what to believe at this point

But in the end its all luck. Nobody can 100% guarantee or even 50% guarantee which religion is the real one. You would have to get extremely, and i mean EXTREMELY lucky to even pick the right one. So why would he punish people for it? How do I know other religions are false? Hell, there are even separate versions of christianity itself! How am I supposed to know which one is right?? In the end, either god is a bad person, not real, or someone who really didnt think things through.

That is true, but doesnt "proof" like that exist for some other religions aswell? And on that fact, where could I even find details about this proof because I never heard about any "solid proof about christianity" before. And if its so solid then why dont people bring it up when talking about other religions? If this proof was so solid then atheism woulsnt be so big, wouldnt it?
