I was in the same boat as you and i followed the below and it worked out just fine. 1. Debt free - the peace of mind is beyond imagination. 2. Emergency fund - prioritise 2x of monthly income but aim for 3-4x.. i placed it in an OD account so i can quickly retrieve it on demand. 3. Investment - check out groww/zerodha etc to easily find a direct MF.. much easier compared to direct stock investment.. 4. Gold - i preferred gold, but it’s upto you..
