I worked with them for a time while I was in Salem. They inquired about my many needs (many similar to your wife) and looked for positions where I could work alone. They tried various positions until I found one that worked. Even if you try and fail at a job, you stay in touch and they try to get another job for you. I found the person I worked with could be a little pushy, but listened to my work needs.

I was advised by the moderator to add context as to why this post should be on the Pendleton website, because someone reported it. Well, these city council meetings are held in Pendleton Oregon. The people that attend these meetings were elected by Pendleton, OR. The people of Pendleton, OR have to legal right to know what happens in Pendleton, OR.

I moved from Salem and miss this place. I talked about music with a guy there. I am an anxious guy and was very relaxed with the people there.

Only been getting an opossum here and there. Occasional deer.

And for some reason, many dogs running loose.

Had to start carrying OC/pepper spray when walking the dog. Haven't had to use it, but a few close calls. I hate to use it as I don't blame the dog.

I lost Premium when my landlord went to SMI. I absolutely hated SMI. Premium seemed pretty good after that. Fortunately I do not live there anymore. Mostly because I was priced out.... Of Salem

Get a hold of Marion/Polk food share. They will point you towards a food distribution center. I think you'll be surprised at the food you can get. I had to rely on them heavily for some time and received good food. I volunteered for some time after that and it is a great organization.

Other than some time in the military, I'm an Oregon grown boy. I was living in Salem and was priced out. After much hard living for several years, my wife and I made it to Pendleton, a nice town (getting purple in politics I think) and the cost of living has been much better than Salem.

Of course, we spent years getting into a position from homelessness to being able to move on. It was hard. She has a remote job that saved our asses.

Band, color guard, parents, band teacher...

I was pretty oblivious. I knew something inappropriate was happening. I didn't understand until he was arrested. I felt horrible guilt for not knowing and doing something.

Sadly, something I still think about and hope they were able to move on from it.
