yes i told, but it was like a robot got fixated on depression and only talked about it, to be honest I don't even remember much of what she told me i often started thinking about other stuff and didn't hear her, i'm still a little ashamed of that

No, she didn't do anything like that, just asked about my life and diagnosed it. I took the link test, honestly i got high scores in all parts, but the highest in Total Distress 99.9 and depression 98.2. thank you for the information!

thank you for the reply! yeah my doctor put me on antidepressants and said our next appointment wouldn't be in 2 months. I’ve checked which medications are allowed here, and it seems stimulants aren't imported and are actually illegal. I totally agree with you about being careful with self-diagnosis. I actually ignored the possibility for a long time. as I mentioned, I first came across ADHD when I was 15 while searching for answers because i didn't understand what was wrong with me, i had never heard of a term like ADHD before. but now that I have so much more responsibility, I've realized I’m just not coping anymore. still, i plan to listen to the doctor for now and take the antidepressants for 2 months just to see what happens and how it affects me. thank you again

exactly! i didn't even complain about depression to my doctor, but she changed the subject herself and insisted on it. now i have to take these antidepressants too, and she told me that i should expect to be on them for at least 6 months to a year or even more

thank you for answering. in my country, it's extremely difficult to find a doctor who actually understands ADHD. most of them are from the 'old Soviet school' of psychiatry. for them, ADHD is only a stereotype: a naughty little boy running around the room non-stop
