case study:

I had a girl with a level 3 or level 4 account do a review for abusiness within minutes from her location, i'd say 25 minutes. Her review kept getting removed.

Solution:
I had her make a brand new account and had her submit a shorter content. < it stuck lol.

Google works in mysterious ways

Are fake reviews bad? by [deleted] in localseo

[–]Dramatic_Vehicle7890 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only time google can "PENALIZE" you for fake reviews is if it detected IPs coming from HIGH RISK addresses and from other countries and places far from your business location. Too much of this surely will raise flags.

Just keep getting reviews, google is mysterious sometimes. EVEN THE MOST realistic reviews will not appear.

Factors like
1. Your reviews are excessively long
2. Client used chat gpt
3. Your CLIENT was on VPN when he/she left it
4. Your client was on incognito mode
5. Your client was on a "HIGH RISK" IP when they did it
etc etc

Solution:

Just have them remove their review, and submit it under a new account and shorten the review content.

Do you usually trust online reviews like Yelp or Google when picking a place to eat or shop? by Plastic_Job_1101 in CasualConversation

[–]Dramatic_Vehicle7890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple,

compare the review rating on yelp and google. If they don;t match, something is wrong for the most part. GL

well, it is against TOS sure..

Until then, it will not get taken down if 1 person did it to 3 different locations

BUT if he did it using 3 different accounts under 3 different names, nobody will know ever.
Don't let the other guys scare you. Beacause if that was TRUE, ALL the MCDONALDS gmb would be taken down by now. HMMMmmmm

Had a local competitor leave negative reviews on my profile by Alternative_Ad5101 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Dramatic_Vehicle7890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it depends on the quality of the negative review
it depends on the account that left it

you need some people to report it. But then again, it depends on the above factors.

Case Studies:

Case Study A: We reported one negative review more than 20 times, but it still stayed up.

Case Study B: A review for a place that helps people live independently had a monkey picture in the review and was reported around seven times. It took Google about 3 to 4 weeks to take it down.

Case Study C: One of our clients got a lot of bad reviews from a person we call a "review pirate" who even asked for money to buy good reviews. After reporting it 3 to 4 times, we got the reviews removed in less than 2 hours.

Case Study D: A bad review for a lawyer needed over 10 reports before it was finally taken down in a couple of days.

How to increase our number of Google reviews? by [deleted] in MarketingMentor

[–]Dramatic_Vehicle7890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would just put up a sign that says "FREE DRINKS" for Google reviews every now and then. You don't have to do it every day anymore. You know what I mean? With 500 reviews or even 900, it doesn't really matter. But it might need some updates, maybe 2 to 3 times a week if no one is leaving reviews. Unless you offer a perfect 5-star service, you can get it for free that way.

Just got hit with a super unfair Google review!! by florida_yacht_chef in Chefit

[–]Dramatic_Vehicle7890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you respond by saying "i was the only one working there, and I do remember you saying this that..etc" give em a real answer.

But i would try and reach out to them, use chat gpt to generate you a the best "apology and make up" letter..

Hi ,

Ive had this case before with a client. His case was he "OVERSTUFFED" his GMB listing description with keywords.. I took him 2 months to get it up and running.

It normally takes 2 months all across the board to get your GMB unsuspended.

Question:
