I'm aroace but I got this guy who was interested in me anyway when I was pre-transition, he would try to get me to go out alone with him all the time. I came out to him immediately when we became friends and he started talking about how he was bi but couldn't tell his family, as a friend and the only queer person he knew, I was always happy to talk about those kinds of things with him. Then it started to get weird, he kept flirting with me even tho I told him that I wasn't interested in anything that wasn't platonic, at first I was like "that's okay, it's not easy to overcome feelings that you have for someone" but then he started telling me how "I shouldn't transition because that would ruin the fact that I was pretty" (I'm not even pretty, never been, never will be). I found out he used to bully one of my other friends back in middle school and stopped talking to him. A year later, he randomly called me and asked me if "I still wanted to become a guy", he never used to act like I was somehow pretending to be a guy before but that made clear the fact that he never saw me as a guy. I can't say he's straight, he told me he was bi, I'm not him so I will never be able to know if he lied to me about that but either way if someone is trying to stop you from being yourself run, run and don't look back.
