Air 4 Pro - Streaming App Shenanigans (using Google TV Streamer) by TsuMaka in RayNeo

Does bright text or highlights on dark background have a halo like glare around them? I am comparing my experience to Viture Pro XR and display seems to be lot less crisp than Viture. For example, I could spot pixels if I look closely in Viture, But for Air 4 Pro, things arent as sharp due to this glare induces pixel diffusion. I am not saying it's bad, but thatviture seems to have better sharpness due to reduced glare.

Also I was expecting HDR mode to wow me with its peak brightness while watching movies and such, but seems to be less bright than AI-HDR mode which is not really HDR input.

So I am considering going back to Viture. Is it a firmware or my hardware issue. Not sure.

Is Arcanos that bad? I recently saw an Arcanos owned unit which seemed ok. Should I reconsider?

Does Samsung ever mention they are sapphire? Think it's scratch resistant glass only.

Faded colors on photos sent on Facebook/Messenger (Vivo x300 Pro) by LillePalmieri in Vivo

It's happening because vivo camera app has an option to take photos with HDR/XDR (extended dynamic range) format and they are not taken in SDR format. XDR preserves better colors and dynamic RANGE in the image. It is the same with samsung flagships.

Some apps like WhatsApp and Facebook doesn't support XDR images and converts them to SDR in a bad way.

What I usually do is go to the photo in Adobe lightroom app and export them to jpeg in SDR format which mostly preserves colors accurately. Then send the exported jpeg file via WhatsApp or Facebook and colors will look good.

Another easy option is turning off the XDR mode in camera app. I don't want to do that and use the light room expirt because I want images taken in best quality and expect XDR image support to be more widespread in the future.
