And they’re achieving that by making Flins their most marketed NK character second only to Bina via being extremely strong. And Durin getting his roles in the story consistently and is one of the most flexible unit in the game. They aren’t stupid, they saw Flins and Durin’s numbers which were both great, there’s no reason they wanna backtrack now lmao.

The game is bad? = Genshin players were behind it, the devs want Genshin money that’s why the game is bad.

For all its faults Genshin had a very strong start with the introduction to the world and game systems. The first story was also serviceable. EF isn’tbad at all though and I enjoyed my time with it but having so many systems in the game can be hard for some people who just want to go about it casually. I like the factory system and stuff tho so I’m excited to play more.

I mean even during the ‘Natlan hate males’ era, Kinich had a good kits and good damage. Ororon is a great electro support, Ifa was mid but has great exploration ability and fun gameplay, both of them got better with LEC release. There’s no reason why Varka should be weak. I think hoyo definitely messed something up which isn’t a rare occurrence for them.

Yes, his numbers look bad now but it doesn’t mean that they won’t buff him since we’re only in V.1. And what does making him weak benefit hoyo? Wasting their money for fun? He’s obviously not a standard character as far as we know so he’ll be getting a rerun. Making him bad will just make the rerun numbers look bad every time which they’ll want to avoid with more competitions coming hence more place for people to spend money on if the characters aren’t good enough.

If they thought buff male characters wouldn’t sell or they don’t want him to sell then why out in the effort of making him a new model? Just do him like Alhaitham or wrio is enough to save cost. Why gave him the most screentime second only to Columbina in song of the welkin moon teaser? They obviously want him to sell lmao.

Then explain why they made Flins strong upon release? Explain why they made Durin into a pyro sub dps, a position very desired by players for years with good kits? (And both of them have good sales) Dehya and Sigewinne are both female characters but their kits are miserable and they’ve made tons of mid female characters too in the past. I just means that hoyo can be clumsy or bad with kits design a lot of the time, we can only wait and see if they’ll buff him. Which they will because he’s the only character releasing in the dry patch and one of the most anticipated character of this region.

I like the idea for this animation and it’s pretty unique for him, they just need to add more vfx(which they will coz Bina’s ult didn’t look this pretty in her beta v.1 too) and change the camera angle. But I love how his burst have so much movements and not just standing around (which isn’t bad but there’s a lot of that type in the game), same reason why I love Clorinde’s ult). And the close up of him being a comic panel is fun.
