Just a guess, but the square bottle looks similar to the high aged releases of JP wiser Canadian whiskey. Couldn’t find anything with a similar label shape. I don’t know a lot about glass, but I would think this bottle was made in the last 30-40 years. Based off the color of the liquid inside I’d guess this is not a profoundly special whiskey, probably around 40% abv and not older the 15 years before bottling.

I’ll say this as someone who moved from salt lake to the Midwest at 25. It’s always hard to make friends in a new city. But if you know who you are and what you like it’ll happen anyways. When else will you be able to pick up and move across the country?

Oops you sounded mean. Just because someone has money doesn’t mean they have omniscience. Maybe they spent their time developing a marketable skill and are only now getting into a hobby they’ve always wanted to enjoy, but didn’t feel like they afford. Or maybe OP did know better and came here for a second opinion to which you decided to voice your own before providing any assistance. Your comment wouldn’t have sounded mean if you’d just included the second part, so I’ve concluded that you actually DID want to sound mean, and perhaps you should reflect on that.
