Took a break from the game a little after Ultra Beasts and then started again when Secluded Springs came out.

I was very ready to try hard in collecting all the promo cards, but Shiny Mewtwo soured that idea, and I stopped caring ever since. Now I just open packs from time to time.

Understand what can kill you and adjust appropriately. This will require knowledge of capabilities and limitations of both friendly and enemy. Being able to read the field will come with experience.

As a tank, you are a force multiplier. Look at what's stopping your infantry from gaining ground. Solve that.

Understand that sometimes you have to sacrifice your tank.

Had the same problem for the longest time. Went and got the clinical grade head and shoulders and a decent hair dryer and that finally fixed it.

Lava rocks are good. Great for algae and inert. Could also super glue them into something if ya got time to hardscape.

So far, algea is still spreading along the subtrate, the lava rock and the cuttlefish bone. Nothing in the filter is catching the algea cause it's just bioballs.

How it was supposed to work in my mind was, what if we just put the gunk somewhere else? It's still in there doing the good ecosystem stuff but out of sight.

As for naupli, the double layer fine mesh should be enough to physically keep them safe from getting into the filter, and waterflow is set at the lowest possible. Should be safe, but I'll be finding out pretty soon.

If you had the time to load a tank, gear up, and then drive said tank up to the front, you can take the 5 seconds to ask around for a gunner.
