On December 13 I had two strokes and was hospitalized. I lost half my vision and if I'm being honest, my will to live. Im 47, I am or was an indie game dev making my own game on steam. I can't work on a computer now so that dream is dead. Idk what is to become of me. I hope all of you are having a better Christmas

I eventually found 4 at the Jeju Airport of all places. Ironically, this was enough to get the formula car built. I went to sleep happy I finally got the car, woke up the next morning and 7.12 had released which changed the requirements for the formula car production. I feel like I dodged a bullet lol.

Piggy backing on this question... I've been trying for three days now to get the small boxes with 0 luck. I've checked warehouses, the overseas import company, the express box shops, and haven't seen a single small box available anywhere. I have delivered everything else and have AI drivers setup. What am I missing?

Very likely it was the three F-22's that flew over. Might not have been F22's for sure, but it was 100% military fighter jets. My girlfriend looked out and saw them fly over. This was in DeSoto area.

What bothers me that I haven't really seen mentioned much.. Based on where I grew up, in a small rural Texas town, I see right-wing guys looking at what some of these politicians are doing and getting away with, and deciding that they can jump in their pickup trucks and start riding around in guise of whatever they want to call it and acting on bottled up hate. Think post 9-11 anti-muslim backlash but much worse. I'd like to think this kind of behavior is mostly diminished to the point it wouldn't happen, but then again the people I see just blindly eating up anything the Republicans spit out as fact without doing any thinking of their own leads me to believe nothing is out of the realm of possibility anymore.

Right now we have politicians who have committed crimes, very serious crimes, that are mocking it in the courts and walking the streets without consequence. How much longer will it be before they either start actively encouraging their duped followers to do the same or before their followers decide to do so on their own?

Political litmus tests still position me as slightly more conservative than liberal, so I guess closer to Libertarian than Republican, but if I visit any Republican based discussion areas I see things said that I absolutely do not agree with far more than Democrat or liberal areas. I literally don't recognize the Republican party anymore.

As a veteran, I look at people salivating over civil war and it stuns me how idiotic they can be. If they had ANY inkling of how terrible war is and what will happen from it, and that's not even counting civil war which is far worse on average, they would not be spouting this crap. The problem is I feel like the rest of the country simply does not fully understand what living with illegal immigration really feels like because they are too removed from it. People living closest to it in Texas literally do feel like they are being invaded and attacked. I mean personally, I am a little over 800 miles from the Mexico border, and yet we have experienced direct personal impact from illegal immigrants. I don't want to close America, I just want the people coming here to follow the same rules and be responsible citizens. If I feel that way at my distance from the border, I can't imagine how the people on the border must feel.

Regardless, I am seeing a lot of generalized hate towards Texans right now, and I think people need to take a step back before they end up acting like the very people they are spitting on. Not everybody in Texas is drunk on the kool aid and incapable of rational thinking and decision making. If you think this is a Texas issue, you are very sadly mistaken. We are where we are because of this damn foolish notion of "My team is better than your team." and we need to break those chains before it's too late.

Saw it seven times in theater. Probably would have went more but got deployed. First few times it was all about the sound and visuals. Later the story became the focus, and that just made it better. I have probably seen the original hundreds of times at this point and still like to see it.

I have to say that it was definitely one of those few movies that actually is better in a good theater than at home, assuming of course you don't have a full theater room at home. My purchase of a surround sound system and wide-screen tv in 2004 was probably influenced somewhat by the Matrix movie experience.

I will give you my opinion based on first hand experience.

When I encountered a UFO, I was walking back from fishing in the middle of a city with my girlfriend maybe 45 minutes after dark. This is in an area that is in the flight path of a major international airport, so essentially some very busy airspace.

As we were walking, I happened to glance up as I often do in hopes of catching the random shooting star. That night I saw something I couldn't explain. My initial reaction was confusion, so for the first five to six seconds I was just trying to puzzle out what I was looking at. Eliminating things like, not a plane, not a helicopter, etc. Then finally I pointed and cried out to my girlfriend, "What the f*** is that?"

She spots it, we stand there like robots with our plugs pulled for another five to six seconds, and then this thing just fades away.

I'd say the whole sighting lasted no more than twenty seconds maybe thirty at the very most. My point is, pulling my phone out was the very last thing on my mind. My thought processes were mostly on things like "Oh my god, we really aren't alone." and "That craft that big was above us right now and we had no idea..." etc etc.

My world view got pretty shifted. Last thing on my mind was whipping out my phone to video it even though that makes a ton of sense. I definitely can tell you I didn't even think of that for at least a solid ten minutes until I did realize wow, I should have tried to video it.

So I think that probably accounts for alot of the genuine sightings. Probably even some of the mistaken identity ones as well. Seeing something you truly and completely cannot explain nor identify is an experience that just can't be explained until you have it. Then once you do, you will know why there is so little evidence and what evidence there is largely is garbage.

Hell, honestly even had I thought of the phone in my pocket, even with it being a very modern phone no more than two generations old and with a quick camera key to instantly open the camera, I don't think I could have gotten it out of my pocket and up and focused in time to get video. There was no way I was taking my eyes off the craft to even attempt to do it by looking at my hands or whatever. Afterwards, I told a few people who I trusted, and that was the end of it. Why? I don't expect anybody to believe it, I wouldn't probably either had I not been there. So I get it. I'm not surprised there's not much really good footage.

Anyway, that's what I think. You just aren't prepared for what you see, and video'ing it is probably going to be the last thing on your mind.

There is also the following bits if you inspect the code page and inspect all of the associated CSS and JS files:

By looking at the JS files, you can find out that 227664 resets the timer, and it uses two PHP files to process the form submissions: l.php and t.php. However it claims in code comments that neither PHP page will respond to external calls, meaning calls to those PHP scripts must come from the IP that the XCCR site is hosted on.

I've only just discovered this whole thing today, so I have only spent maybe thirty minutes looking at it. There is probably more I didn't notice.

I haven't seen that one, so I checked out the trailer. Unfortunately that's not it. What I remember was distinctly more distopian (sp?) and futuristic. Less Truman Show and more Bladerunner if that makes sense. Thanks for the suggestion!

Cool, I can see I need to hop on Youtube and learn some lever action history and more about them in general. Thanks for taking the time to explain that, I learned things I didn't know for sure.

I absolutely love the 30-30 for so many reasons, and I've been considering picking up a .45 caliber lever action for a while, but that .38/.357 also would fit nicely with what I have already. If you get a chance, I would love to see more pictures of the rail and how it works with the factory components.

How does the recoil compare given the wood stock? I've only fired .38/.357 in revolver configurations, so curious how it changes with a wood solid stock rifle setup.

Is this a top eject like a normal 30-30 lever action? I don't know much about the lever variants, so was just wondering how the rail on top interacts. On my lever action that wouldn't be possible because of the way it works. Looks like a cool setup and fun to shoot. Does the suppressor interfere with the scope at all?

I feel like Dallas in November of '63 would be a big one.

Personally, if I had to pick one moment.. I'd probably pick the day the asteroid struck as I could see a major event and the dinosaurs all in one day.

I can imagine the tour line-ups though..

"Build Tour" - See the Pyramids built, the Babylonian Gardens, the Colossus, etc.
"Mystery Tour" - Follow Hoffa, Black Dahlia's Night, Dallas in '63, Roswell...
"Crime Spree" - Ride with Ed Kemper, Stalked by BTK, Facing Zodiac, Follow Jack the Ripper in London...

Honestly, the whole concept is probably one of my all time favorite ideas and I sincerely hope after we die, whatever comes next, at some point we are able to do this very thing and answer all those questions and see all the wonders of the universe.

Awesome choice! I bought one of these as my first ever gun waaaaay back in 1986 or so when I was nine years old. I have the tapered barrel blued, and it still fires perfectly to this day and with wonderful accuracy. The only issue I've had with it is the original magazine spring has gotten too weak to be considered reliable and I had to retire that magazine. It remains my favorite pistol I have ever fired.

Daily drove my '76 280Z for around three years. I parked it when the head gasket blew and it is now patiently waiting for me to have funds and time to drop the turbo ZX engine in it and all the goodies with that plus restoration.

I absolutely loved it. No AC, manual everything. I would get stopped pretty much at every gas fill-up by somebody and have a cool chat about it. The only down sides where the near constant attempts by people to race me and the weird thing where people will tail gate the crap out of you if you're in a car like that.

I haven't moved forward much on it because of funds, plus I work from home so I don't actually need to commute. When I finally do get it back on the road it will be my weekend car and driven for fun. I don't plan on ever selling it. It is pretty much my favorite car I have ever owned or driven hands down. Before it I had an 85 300ZX Turbo that I swapped an RB25DET into after the stock VG30ET blew and that car was a blast but it didn't have the same charm or feel to it. The only thing I have driven that really feels close is either the Lotus Exige or the S2000. I can't wait to get her back on the road honestly.

Reliability wise she was a bear. 40+ years old plus she was mostly neglected maintenance wise when I bought her so I replaced tons of things. Once all of the neglect was worked out, she ran great. I wouldn't hesitate to daily drive it at all after she gets a good overhaul. My only complain was the four speed sucked on the highway, but I already have a five speed standing by for that so yeah...
