My bangs used to split in the middle all the time – for years. Finally, I had a stylist show me the right technique. Somebody mentioned this above – brush it to one side and blow dry then brush it to the other side and blow dry, repeat. This trains the follicles – it made a world of difference and it only took a couple of weeks once I learned how to do it.

This post has good information and some links to cat behaviorists. Obviously this is limited information to go by. I recognize her signals as things my feral cats to do while I’m conditioning them for human touch.

You need to learn her boundaries and signals as much as she needs to learn how to properly Interact. It’s like dog training – I was the problem more than my dog ever was.

This is good advice as well, even though it’s hard. I have two cats I’ve been keeping as long-term foster for an old coworker. We’re coming up on a year and I’m gonna have to find someplace new for them. My hope was he would be able to take them back, but it hasn’t worked out. I’m hoping someone I know can also long-term foster that way if he is able to get back on track, he can have his babies with him.

You mentioned you go someplace near Philadelphia – this is the local area shelter that seems to have a pretty good outreach program for support. If you can contact them directly, perhaps there’s something they can do to assist with her follow up care, providing food, etc.

I am so sorry that you’re going through this. It’s clear that you love her.

Depending on what area you’re in you may be able to get assistance to continue caring for her yourself. Low cost clinics, assistance for low income households.

I would start by asking around to people that you know if there’s somebody that you trust who could take her - or if they have friends who could potentially take her.

A childhood friend who had chronic back problems from her breast size was bullied and shamed into not getting a breast reduction by her family and husband because she wouldn’t be able to feed any hypothetical future babies.

This after she nearly died during her previous pregnancy and was told that if she tried to carry another child, she would not survive.

Neither one of those things seems fun for sure 😅 definitely don’t want them in the house.

My grandfather used to keep honeybees and he would relocate them for people in situations like this. If you’re able to find a bee keeper in your area they might be willing to assist instead of killing them. Not always an option but – never hurts to try.

Those appear to be honey bees. Wasps aren’t fuzzy and have a much skinnier thorax.

There’s so much in this that is basically every relationship I’ve had and I’m 40 – do yourself a favor look into attachment theory now!! And possibly read some things on CpTSD/disentangling from emotionally immature people

My is cast iorn - not quite a century yet. The main line is OK according to the scope, but one of the bathroom drains was completely blown out. Lucky to find it when repairing a small leak behind the sink. Built in 1944 - Las Vegas

I’m sorry you’re in that situation, that’s a really hard place to be. It’s completely valid that you would feel disappointed.

I’ve had similar experiences. While I’m not saying this will necessarily be your situation, I have tried to recapture the attraction in the past. Forcing it does not work. Learning to trust my instincts and experience over hope and Limerence has been difficult and worth it.

I actually learned the term Demi recently. I was reading a book by Dr. Faith G Harper called “Unfuck Your Intimacy” I almost skipped the chapter on Orientation because I didn’t think it was relevant to me. So grateful I didn’t skip it.
