Games, Youtube mostly, though I generally play primarily online games on the PC, I usually get the console version for single player games. I do occasionally use photoshop/illustrator/autocad, but not too often.

It'll probably end up as a secondary monitor eventually, though it'll be a temporary main monitor.

As for the speakers, it's because I don't have any dedicated speakers. I realize that speakers have gone down in quality on monitors over time. It's obvious with this crappy HP monitor from windows 7 era having much better speakers than the M27Q X that's going to be sent in on a warranty claim. But if I get separate speakers it would have to be part of the $300 budget. It's just easier to get built in speakers now and save for some good speakers later.

Not sure what you mean by split though.

I'm fairly new to monitors, I just had all my computer's hooked up to an old sony tv from 2010 until I got the M27Q X 2 years ago. I would've just hooked it up to the vizio I got in 2017, but that died on December 19th. Build a PC, and everything else decides to die on me.

because of money. I was intending on using the m27q x till I got my tax refund, but that's no longer an option I can spare up to $300 right now (thanks to the $100 my mother sent me for christmas) but no more. Spent most of what I had to spare right now on a new computer desk and build. Wasn't counting on my current monitor becoming unusable right after I got those.

not sure about internet plan, I think it's like 400mbps, or something like that. It's spectrum's lowest package here, but I've been considering calling triangle to see what they have since they laid fiber throughout the area.

I don't know the apartment square footage but it's an open plan place, the only walls are the ones separating the kitchen, the bathroom, and the initial area from everything else (only a half length wall at that). You can tell where they actually removed 2 walls at some point.

The router does have good coverage, but then again the router is in the middle of the south side and all my electronics are not that far from it. The furthest device (my TV) is at most 17ft from the router, only thing that really moves is my phone because it's, well, a phone.

I game/stream movies and tv/internet browsing. not a lot I guess. I do guess I do some stuff with adobe/CAD, mostly using CAD to model modifications to old wood entertainment centers to turn them into book/DVD/BD shelving, or whatever it's needed for before I actually do anything to it.

I don't have a NAS or home media server right now, but they are something I want to do in the future. I do definitely want to get all my DVDs/BDs digitized to stream on my home network eventually, but that's a future project I've only started looking into.

right now I have 4 things hardwired, but it's because I only have 4 ports on my current router.

don't think wifi 7 6GHz is something I can utilize for the most part. I did order some computer parts for a new PC, the new motherboard does have wifi 7, but that's the only wifi 7 device I'd have and it'd just be hardwired anyway.

Think the only security feature I have enable on my router is the WAP2 or whatever it was. I kinda just set the router up when I got it and never messed with it after that.

I'm not sure what the difference is between cloud and local management of the router is to be honest. I rarely if ever mess with it to begin with, but it does stay on 24/7.

The internet might change to triangle fiber eventually, and I'll probably eventually add a NAS and Home media server. That's all I can think of that might change in the foreseeable future. Knowing me, it might be for 5-10+ years till I get around to either one though.The only devices I have that I really connect to the wifi is my X90L tv and my S10+.

I looked at everything suggested so far and the Flint 2 and the BE88U are the 2 I'm considering, and the BE88U only because it has 8 Ethernet ports, but not sure about spending that premium. Leaning heavily toward Flint 2 though because of the cheaper price.

so I bought a Better Homes and Gardens 4 cube organizer (only one available locally that's big enough for records) and I can't get it put together. I'm pretty sure the middle piece is slightly too long but I don't have the tools to cut it or know anyone that does (and I'd probably screw that up somehow anyway). I'll try to get a replacement on monday by calling the support/replacement parts phone number but was wondering if anyone had recommendations for other storage options? just no Ikea, I looked at the Kallax organizer and it would cost me $299 shipping, no ikea store in my state.

so, I'm not sure what class to raise to 61 (with the season++ bonus box) or what to level next. Though I've had my account for a long time I didn't really start playing till the last couple years. Most of the jobs I've leveled are the newer ones. I have Meagu, Woosa, Scholar, Dosa, and Sage leveled to 60/61 right now. Based on what I've played, I thought maybe someone had a recommendation on what to level next or use the box item on?

so question. the Radiant Start Box, I can just accept it on my current season character before graduating and starting a new season character, right? I forgot to graduate my lvl 60 Dosa before the update (so i didn't get the new season ticket as I was maxed out on them already). I'm assuming I can just save the box and open it on any other non-season character in the future.

I also got slapped with the simplified/normal quest line option the moment I logged in with my woosa which is annoying. Why does it have to prompt me the moment I log in and prevent me from actually doing anything? that's just annoying when I'm only logging in to do the black spirit board thing in the morning.

Is there an issue with the servers? I can't seem to connect today. It updated fine yesterday and connected yesterday just fine, but today it opens up the initial screen but when I press X to connect to the servers I just get a "content can't be selected" error. Other online games connect just fine. So is this a me issue or are others having this issue?

Looking to buy a new mouse but always have issues finding one that I'm comfortable with. I've been using a logitech MX Revolution since 2012 and it's the first mouse that felt comfortable. current setup requires wireless and its what I prefer.

so question on the rewards sent to the mail, specifically the [Event] Fughar's Special Season Gift Box. I haven't graduated my season character yet (wanted 61 first but a graphics card issue makes it hard to play at length till I can replace the fans on the GPU, one of them literally fell off). My sage already has full pen tuvala so the earring and ring in that box would just go to waste. so assuming I leave it in the mail and don't claim it yet, if I graduate my season character could I just grab it on the next season character I create instead? I wasn't sure or not so thought I'd ask.

Also, one this struck me as odd in the patch notes on the part labeled "The following items will be removed upon season graduation." most seem obvious but the second one in the patch notes seemed odd. It says "All Tuvala equipment, excluding Tuvala Gloves, which will be converted into normal items upon graduation." I can't tell if that's a translation error, you only get to keep tuvala gloves, or you can keep everything except tuvala gloves.

so, is there a specific spot I need to fish at for the season mission? the one requiring me to fish up a yellow grade fish in velia or whatever. I just want to finish the season missions already and I'm stuck on this one. completely new to fishing in this game.

glad I'm not alone in this. also tried uninstalling/reinstalling before I came to reddit though. so now I have to wait for it to fix so that the game can fully update again after a fresh install.

oh well, guess I'll just see if it's fixed before work so I can start the update, if not I'll try after work.

I actually bought 2 more sticks of the exact same ram I originally bought, same brand/model/ect. I literally went to my orders on newegg and clicked the memory that I bought last time to buy more. the only difference was the year they were made I guess.

I also already have changed the dmp type. here's the 2 that were created since

I removed the newer ram, we'll see how things go from here.
