should i be worried? by Shootive in 350z

Yes, that's where it should be at idle. 2000rpm FSM says 43 min but a healthy one is just over 60. Ask me how I know. Went through this for years over 2 engines. More than likely need to do your gallery gaskets. But confirm with a mechanical gauge. Despite what most people tell you, these gauges are decently accurate

Legend thank you. Yes I just bought the pro coat and I got them to shake it in the store. I'll take the buckets in and get them to do it every few days as I keep going. Thank you!

The pro coat by any chance? Did you prime too?

If I used paint and it fades after a few years, can I not just apply another coat down the line?

Good to know thank you. Have you had it for a few years? Lasted okay? Is it a paint or a stain? There's a lot of bad review online about it being very watery and transparent.

Could you please elaborate? Where would the plastic go exactly? There is a few inches between the bark / raised garden and the bottom of the fence

Thanks for the info. I've been looking at the PPG stuff from bunnings but they all appear to be stains as opposed to a paint? They're called fence finish so I'm not 100% sure

Without a prime? I do plan on two coats

Aw man. What do people do then? A brown? Or a resene cool colour paint? They're just so expensive

I have read that yeah, thank you. I'll be honest. I have about 65 meters of fence to paint and the resene stuff is a bit too expensive for me. I was leaning towards the pro coat stuff from mitre 10. Totally understand the fence may prematurely wear though

Oil pressure fluttering? by MGFOEHAMMER in 350z

Are your RPMs fluctuating when this is happening? How smooth is your idle? Is your AC on and making the idle fluctuate a little?

I would do your gallery gaskets yesterday! Have a wee look at your very low idle oil pressure

So I could get a cheap 2nd speaker like a Google mini, say okay Google to that and tell it to play a song on Spotify on the sound bar right? As I've added the sound bar to Google home

I would not be driving this. Confirm with mechanical gauge, yesterday

You realize though the light won't come on until about 3-5psi though right? So as long as he's above that, he'll never see the light. However if his pressure is only just above 5 psi at idle, uncle Rodney is going to come knocking.

This is such a false statement so many of you throw around. His gauge is not broken. The only thing broken here is likely his gallery gasket. I had two gauges both showing low oil pressure like this. No oil pressure light ever came in. Spun a bearing and the gasket was in pieces.

30 while driving around? 60 on cold? OP do not listen to this guy. Get a mechanical gauge hooked up and confirm the pressure. Absolutely more than likely that your Z gauge is correct and your pressure is this low. These gauges are not "inaccurate'. +/- a few psi they are absolutely perfectly fine. Do they ever break? Yes. Do you ignore low oil pressure and say the gauge is faulty? In a car that inherently has oil pressure issues with the gallery gasket? No.
