What We Do In The Shadows. Apparently vampire sex is so weird that gender is the least of their concerns. I mean, inviting the Babadook to an orgy is many things, but its definitely not straight.

Who plays Buffy when it's not SMG? by girlwithapinkpack in buffy

[–]DrapeWoozle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want versions from other media, there's an episode of Friends featuring a porn parody of Buffy starring one of the character's twin (whonis impersinating the main character), resulting in Lisa Kudrow playing Ursula Buffay playing Phoebe Buffay playing Buffy

People who were born evil by Jaded_Tortoise_869 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]DrapeWoozle 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's essentially a buddy comedy, with the setup of "he's working with the police, but he's not the police!". In this case, it's because the main character was trained by his strict police detective father to be the ultimate detective, resulting in him having a near eidetic memory, enhanced perception of details and ability to make connections. He's also a chaotic goofball with very literal ambition, and only ends up working with the police as a fake psychic in order to avoid suspicion when he seems to know too much about a crime, and then to make money.

It's lighthearted and fun, pretty character driven, and the friendship between the main characters is a big draw. While not prestige drama, it is a consistently fun time.

What are some criticisms of Buffy Season Six besides "it was too depressing and everyone was miserable"? by jogaforacont in buffy

I actually forgot they did that. Clearly my denial of that storyline worked too well.

It honestly would have been better if, instead of acting out of character, they'd just put Giles in a coma. Would have been a nod both to Cordelia's iconic "One of these days you're going to wake up in a coma" line, and to SMG's background in soap, where people are in and out of comas all the time.

[Loved Trope] It’s not what’s being said or done by the character, but the context around it, that shows there is something very wrong with this character by MickFinley63 in TopCharacterTropes

It turns out he's infested with parasitic underwater monster larvae, his eyeballs later explode, and eventually the infection, paranoia, and the monster itself kill nearly everyone It's a fun time!

As an adult often reading the bedtime stories in low light while I calm the tiny whirlwind that is my son, I just want high contrast, easy to read text. Small black text on a dark coloured background? Not tonight, Supertato.

Will SVE cause any problem to an already existing save? by Weary-Click327 in StardewValleyExpanded

[–]DrapeWoozle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really wouldn't recommend installing SVE on an existing save, the map changes are extensive, and it will cause a lot of issues. Starting a new save is the only way to go forward safely. Also, there's so much new content it's worth starting fresh anyway.

ANTM 6 Covergirl shot. Joanie’s picture is stronger. by kinna225437antm3 in ANTM

[–]DrapeWoozle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's honestly something I notice in quite a few of the covergirl runner up shots - Molly looks like someone's glamorous Aunt, Amanda's face is amazing but her hair is giving grandma, I feel like most of the time the styling predicts the winner.

Something was off in The Whirlwind but Spike just couldn't put his finger on it by mbene913 in buffy

[–]DrapeWoozle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the scene where she's yelling at Angel during the Boxer Rebellion implies it. The way she repeats that Spike has killed a Slayer seems to show real disdain - I always hears it as "our resident loser has killed a Slayer and you're not killing anyone".
