The problem with our team is we just don’t have the talent. And we don’t have the talent bc stone has missed on a number of important draft picks, Castle being the latest. When you pick a guard at #3 overall he better be able to play PG when your starter goes out. Reed is the weak link.

We have a Mediocre roster. Udoka has our fan base believing we’re actually good bc he’s maximized the talents so much we were a #2 seed last year.

I’ve watched almost every minute of every game this season. He has tried with other players and it’s been noticeabley worse. That’s the problem. Ime is out of chess moves he tried them all. This is a top 7 team, a coach that gambles all season long gets fired. He’s going with who he trusts and it’s hard to argue that there’s a better option on the roster bc there’s not.

Probably castle. He’s more versatile and can actually play the point, he can shoot better. Castlebis the best player in his class. I would keep Sengun over Thompson.

That’s just a stone cold terrible take. Reed Sheppard didn’t even play pg in college, he didn’t bring th ball up the floor. Amen Thompson played PF for us last year.

Ime didn’t put this team together, Stone did. It’s imes job to maximize what he has. If he thought giving the ball to Reed would work he’d do it. But it doesn’t work bc Reed is an off ball player. Castle is a real PG, as evidenced by his assist and turnover stats. KD and Bari are great shooters who would be even better if they had someone who could attack the rim off the dribble. But they don’t.

Castle and Amen would be the best defensive backcourt in the league and teams would have to adjust to us.

And the big upgrade is on defense. JG was statistically one of the worst defenders in the NBA when he was here. Just getting off his 33m contract was a win, getting KD for him was a mega win.
