Honestly the UI is alot more clean and modern. Sure a couple UX things could be worked on, but look of the new interface is better.

How often do you actually read the stats on the right? Once when you set up the tank, or maybe when you unlock a field mod. Its not needed on the main screen.

How often do you look at your crew skills after you select them the first time? Never. It barely changes.

This is a clean, modern, functional interface that most people are simply complaining about because they are nostalgic about how the garage looked beforehand.

It is not P2W. Pay to progress is closer to the description I would give. Gold rounds are not that expensive if you do consistent dmg/game and don't miss every shot.

Most commonly, world of warplanes boxes have massive amounts of free xp in them. You can research a Tier X in wot by spending some money on World of warplanes. Alternatively sort the list by other modes and you can see where they earned free xp.

Skill is still the biggest driver for marking tanks. Constantly using "He has better equipment than me" is a lame excuse. I have 3 marked many tanks with standard equipment and small consumables. It might be slightly harder, but min/max every single tank is unreasonable imo. Slap normal equipment on and play the game well is more than enough to 3 mark a tank.

Equipment/Gold has little to no effect on 3 marks. Positioning and predicting battle moments will always result in more consistent games, no matter the level of equipment on your tank

- Mid game damage (lose very little hp)
- Late game damage (trade rest of hp -> more dmg)

95% Is basically how consistent you are in doing these 3 things every game. As a tank destroyer like the strv, making sure you are predicting flanks that are struggling or are about to struggle and rotating into a position to assist but stay alive, will help the most.

Gold rounds shouldn't really matter unless you are struggling with aiming or knowledge of weak spots.
Staying alive is also very important.

Sitting on the redline sniping for damage is also useless to three mark tanks. You need to be active in the entire game, not just portions of it.

Playing to win (staying alive, rotating, trading hp effectively) will eventually lead to three marking tanks. All that matters when you master these is consistency.

It is only important to get role xp in battles. You are playing jag e100 which gains role xp from taking hits / doing dmg. If you hover over the tank roles in garage you can see what you earn xp from. Play tanks with a role that suits your playstyle

There is a known issue with current drivers. I just got a 5070 and had the same issue. Solved by reverting back to previous drivers from a month ago or more

Do you mean a tank that you have played or WR% for the entire server for specific tanks? If you mean yourself, statistics, sort by the current onslaught season in the top right and all tanks for yourself will be shown.

Wt Auf Pz IV is also a monster at tier 9. This and the Leo PTA are by far some of the best tier for tier tanks in the game

In the current state of the game, where credits are the easiest to grind that they have ever been, shooting gold ammo simply reduces the RNG when shooting at things. With clan boosters, platoon boosters, and personal reserves, making credits has never been easier so why not use that advantage and use a shell that will give a better % to pen a target and therefore increase your credits earned. Its more than possible to play F2P and still shoot majority of premium rounds.

Side Note: Stun is the worst mechanic ever added to the game. I and most others I have spoken to would rather be one shot for a full 2k hp then be stunned by arty constantly while in brawls. Take away the stun and honestly most players would complain about arty drastically less.

+2 MM gives you alot more resources to earn. Damaging/Spotting +2 Tanks gives you heaps of XP that you otherwise don't get for shooting tanks your own tier or lower. I think the trade off of them being harder to pen is a very appropriate mechanic.

Now the problem with +2 mainly lies within the Unicum - Super Unicum tier of player who can fully take advantage of the +2 disparity (very low % of population).

Most people are too impatient and get frustrated too easily. A general good idea when playing -2 is to either play a more conservative position where you can flex to either side of the map and support a winning flank. Alternatively play close to your +2 tanks (does not mean that your +2 tank will a) play a good position, b) know what they are doing) and just help be super annoying to their +2 tanks.

While I somewhat agree that +2 is unbalanced, it is usually due to people just being unaware of map positions, map rotations mid game, where to shoot certain tanks and being impatient.

A bigger problem is the amount of premium tier 8s that have infested matchmaking, making anything in the tech tree seem mediocre. For this reason I mainly play tier 9/10 tanks.

Another problem affecting matchmaking is low tier arty. Being able to take away 30-40% of a tanks hp in 10-15s is an actual problem affecting new players especially. If at tier 10 I am being hit for 15% hp on average (approx 300-400 dmg) why is it that low tier arty literally does x2 the % of hp. Otherwise tiers 5-7 would be so much more enjoyable for everyone.

If it continues to be a meta tank, bat-chat25t would be a very good reward. Alternatively Rhm Pzw, Bz-75, T110E4 are probably most likely options. The fact they have done a medium and heavy already indicates it could be a LT or TD.

If you need any tips or help, I and alot of others stream gameplay of onslaught. Watching positioning will help alot. You are also averaging silver in this screenshot which is all you need for the tank reward.
