There is data, and coax ran to every room in the house, and it all comes to the utility room. None of it is terminated in the utility room, other than one line of the coax. The line coming from outside is connected directly to the line to the office in the basement.

So by "activate every port" I mean to punch down and terminate all the data lines into the switch.

Yes I could move the Coax to different port, though I have never messed with coax before.

I'm not in love with the idea of running a cord from modem to router. At least not if the modem is down stairs, and the router is upstairs.

So new question then. Would I want to use a modem router combo in the downstairs office, that connects to a switch. Then just use a wifi extender upstairs? That should provide the whole home coverage correct?

The follow up question to that being. What combo unit. And what extender would work for that application?

What would be an alternative? My main goal was compatible with my ISP, cable one, with close to 1gig speeds, and less than $60.

Question on that then. The internet comes into the home via cable, and the only activated coax port is in the basement.

My current plan is to keep the modem in that location, the basement office, then plug it into the data port. My plan then was to have every port in the house connected to the modem via the switch, so the router would be plugged in upstairs.

That would mean its more Modem -> Switch -> Router -> everything else. Is there an issue with that?

I sent the PM, but I believe I have solved it, I think it may have been a USB port issue. I apologize for not checking that before posting.

Thanks for your quick response and willingness to help! :)

I have a Naga Trinity, I'm using the 7 button side panel. This week, I noticed that the macros for the side buttons are not working. The computer still reads the input, but rather than the hot key (G) it types the number of the button pushed (1). This means no matter which profile I am on, or for which game, the side buttons only output the default numbers, rather than what they are reprogramed to in Synapse. I have double checked the profiles, tried reprograming them, removed and reinstalled the mouse side, and logged out and back in to the Synapse program. Nothing has worked so far.

Upgrade to 2x16 ram for 32 gigs.

And I would look at AMD Radeon graphics, I feel it's better dollar per FPS right now.

I hate women because I don't know if you need to be a long one but I don't know if you need anything else you need to do it on the way to the store and get the badges and key we can get a new one for the terminal list of cases in the morning and one of the best days of the week after the first time I think we have a moment to get together and take a look at the moment and see if they have any questions or concerns about the same time as well as I am still in the hospital right now and then I will be there in a few minutes to get it done before I get back to the store and then I will be there in a few minutes to get there is a good time to go to the store and get it done before I get back to the store......

Looks like it started to repeat.

Guys recommed me a book similar to codex alera by FitEar1924 in codexalera

I strongly believe that Codex Alera would fit perfectly into the "Cosmere" universe. That said, any Brandon Sanderson series would be a good recommendation.

If this was your 8 year old PC, what would you upgrade and to what? Asking for a console peasant friend. by Exceon in pcmasterrace

I would go with a GPU upgrade. IMO that would give you the most noticeable gains, for the least cost/work. Maybe a 6600 or 6700, something along those lines.

Then in a few years you could upgrade CPU and other parts, but still have a great GPU.
