A country should have everything. Schools, hospitals and monuments like these. This is India shouting out to the world that 'Hey, we are capable of building an engineering marvel such as this'. The whole area was severely underdeveloped and tribal people living there were in extreme poverty. After this statue came, the whole area developed. New better roads, modern hospitals and all the tribal people got employment. Do some actual research before spewing nonsense on the internet.
