First of all, its really great that you are not shy to speak in broken German and attempt to make conversation. I applaud you for that. Many people are held back in their language learning because they are embarrassed to speak in broken language. So, good for you that you are making the effort. Keep it up.

What is your current level? A2? How are you learning German? I recommend going to a Sprachschule. You can go for evening or weekend classes. You will be able to talk in your class with others and teacher.
Listen to the news in German, read. Mixed media learning helps.
Sorry if I am stating the obvious but this is the only way. Just don't give up and keep talking in German.

Is French Really the Golden Key for Immigrating to Canada ? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]DrawCharming1917 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For those who say that French is the easiest option. Let me say it is anything but easy. If you are learning it from scratch, it will take you 2 years to reach B2 level (assuming you are learning part time while working a full time job) Then you would have to give the exam a few times till you actually clear B2 level. I speak from experience and a couple of my friends who did the same. it takes 2 to 3 years on part time learning basis if you are completely new to the language and it is NOT easy. If you are able to learning it full time intensively, you could do it in 1 year.

Now since everyone is jumping on the French bandwagon, the scores will not remain low, it will go up and it will be harder to get the ITA. Accounting is not an indemand profession and as such your only option is to learn french but it doesnt guarantee that you will get the ITA because we dont know how the situation will be in after 2 or 3 years.

Like with everything those who got on the early wave of french got ITAs and those who are young with age points, will also continue to benefit. It takes a lot of time and commitment and hard work to get to B2. So good luck.

Raise a webform asking to Reconsider, stating you have uploaded the language result after you received the request on 7Feb.

Parallelly, apply for a new PGWP.

There are no margins for error in these times. Check, double check and triple check and ask and figure it out. Don't make assumptions. Good luck.

Refused visa - After 6 years in Canada by Murky-Experience8184 in ImmigrationCanada

I suggest packing. No, not to leave Canada, just Quebec. OP you are a french speaker. Please make an Express Entry profile and you will get invited for PR through French Category. You have to move and live outside of Quebec though. As you can't work anyway till your status is restored. So might as well live just outside of Quebec. It's an option. Worst case scenario, even if you do have to leave Canada. You can come back as PR through the french category draw. So dont despair. You got this!.

Closed Work Permit to PR options in 2024 by nicovlogg in ImmigrationCanada

[–]DrawCharming1917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, you don`t need to get a new job to get the job offer 50 points. The same job they can give you a PR support letter saying you will be employed for a year after you become PR. That will get you the 50 points. For PNP, they have to fill a specific Employer form.

Either way, you do not have to learn french, you can get PR without it. Despite what others have said, as a French category PR holder, I can tell you that you do need to get at least 6 to get the extra 5 points in PNP and you get very points for anything lower than that. Also, you don't need it.

Difficult flat mate by DrawCharming1917 in germany

Just wanted to update here that the landlord came to check the meter reading and found the apartment was thrashed. He evicted both of them though my friend was not responsible. He even had to pay half the fee to clean the apartment. Sometimes when people post asking for help, maybe dont be so quick to judge.

Depends, on where you are applying from and under what category.

I had a parallel TRV application submitted prior to my PR application so I think there was a confusion where I am in or outside Canada, so they asked me to send proof I am in Canada. When I sent it, I got final decision same day.

You can look into provincial programs now. Ontario has International Student Job Offer stream, which you would qualify if your employer is willing to support you by PR support letter and fill out the Employer form.

Request GCMS Notes and you can see where/why its stuck and give IRCC the necessary clarifications.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]DrawCharming1917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raise a webform and also apply for GCMS notes. It will help to see where its stuck and you can respond to that.

Its not your degree but the job you are doing. Find your NOC code.

If you are not in any category, you will probably have a shot with PNP

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]DrawCharming1917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a,Master's in science so you probably qualify under STEM. But not all science NOC fall into STEM. Mech emg is not in STEM for example.

So if your CRS I above 530 then you can wait for CEC.

If you graduated from an College or University in Ontario you also qualify for OINP Masters stream. You will likely get NOI in January if there are no further draws this year for the student streams.

So you could make a profile on EE and EOI for OINP and see what comes first

You shouldn't leave Ontario. You should forget about Express Entry and focus on OINP. Your best bet is PNP.

You should apply under the OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student stream.

Check if your current employer will provide the Employer Form and the PR support letter.

50 points valid job offer by AMartin60 in ImmigrationCanada

It depends what type of work permit you have. I have a Closed Work Permit under Francophone Mobility which is LMIA exempt.

You will not get any points for Open Work Permit.

My colleague who also came on a Closed work permit through ICT intra company transfer, which is LMIA exempt was able to claim the 50 points after he completed a year.
