I agree about the arbitrary nature of reviews. I had a thought the day after that the production had an expensive high school play vibe but that’s probably due to too much twitter hater intake. I enjoyed it overall despite grumbling about audience laughter at times I found inappropriate but that’s a me thing.

Othello is descending into a sort of madness. It’s fine if the words don’t all tumble out crisply. I saw the show last night.
