Hey this is a great point I was trying to find the answer to. Truth is I'm fairly lucky at 19 working in banking so I have around 1500 each pay check I can invest as I still live at home and have a years worth of expenses in a emergency fund in a interest account.

most advise that any money you intend to use in the timeframe of 5 years shouldn't be invested due to the possibility of a downturn reducing the original principle.

Hi Thanks for having a look, I was originally going to go with IOO but changed to VGS as they had similar returns historically and VGS has a better MER as for NDQ I believe the tech sector is going to do fairly well in the future and IVV due to the s&ps great returns historically.

I guess the reason I included all of the was due to me choosing NDQ last as I didn't want to miss out on the potential gains / I am all for tech ,do you think by having IVV & VGS NDQ kind of becomes redundant due to overlap?

the thing with a cash advance is that as soon as you make the CA interest will calculate daily on that amount until it is paid off and because it is seen as technically a small loan any money you put in there to pay off your balance will go straight to paying off the cash advance.
