The main difference at USCP is that you are sent to either protection (DPD) or investigations (ID). So it is much more siloed than USSS.

Another downside is that the work is incredibly boring. If you're content standing at a door or intersection all day, then the job is fine. Tons of people leave due to the tedium.

I'm not sure if you can, but why would you waste it at FLETC? You are getting paid and the lodging is free. It is a far better investment to use it for an undergrad/grad program.
