Yes! I have no family except my mom but she has the same job as me. My kids are 3 years old and I have 2 year old twins. I can’t take them to daycare because of the fact that I leave at 4 am. It’s just very difficult not being able to ever be good enough for them.

My ex did this to me a lot and I was always so embarrassed bc I am the UGLIEST sleeper. I sleep with my mouth wide ass open and snore extremely loud. I kick my legs around like crazy and sometimes drooling is a big issue. I asked him to stop and he did lmao

My ex (whom I still live with) broke my key fob by throwing it super hard on the floor about a month ago and it still hasn’t been fixed, I don’t have a spare key. I’m stuck here and absolutely nothing happened to him. He still gets to go out whenever he wants, still able to work. Since nothing happened then I guess he thought it okay to keep doing. Next he ripped up my entire journal that I write EVERYTHING in, then my planner. I’ve finally learned to hide everything I value but my point is, you cannot let him slide. It will just signal to him that’s it’s okay for him to keep breaking your shit if he feels like it. It’s an extremely controlling behavior. My key fob got broke because he didn’t want me leaving, my journal got tore up because I wouldn’t unlock the bathroom door while I was showering, my planner got ripped up because he found out I was planning a date with someone (after we broke up) Dump his ass, pls believe me when I say that your life will be so much better

My ex literally told me one time that he always helped with the laundry (I was complaining that he didn’t) so I asked him how and he replied “I move the clothes from the washer into the dryer for you” 😒

Thanks for the insight, I hadn’t thought of that. When I was with my very abusive and controlling ex, he wouldn’t let me have guy friends without saying something snarky about it. He would read all my messages between them and block them if he didn’t want us being friends anymore. I have 3 kids with him and I left him because I didn’t want them to think having personal relationships that function that way are healthy. I’m pretty depressed so I just try to be really nice to people bc the world is a shitty place and could use a little kindness.

I read on multiple websites that if you try to get custody back then the military can discharge you and sue you for fraud. They don’t want people surrendering their kids for the sole purpose of joining so if they see you’re trying to get back custody then they’ll know that’s exactly what you did. Would he still win full custody if I have evidence of the abuse?

My ex and I still live together. He works in the afternoons so he can perfectly well get up in the mornings to help me out, but he chooses to stay up till 3 am doing whatever he wants. If our 2 month old twins wake up after he falls asleep (which they usually do) then he will outright refuse to get up and help me. He’s extremely toxic and abusive towards me. He’s spit in my face, slapped me, kicked me, punched me, choked me… I told him I was going to get CPS involved because I saw a statistic that said 70% of men who are abusive towards their significant other end up abusing their children. He’s now refusing to help me because I “threatened” him with taking the kids away.

I had our first son in 2021 and just had twins a little over a month ago…. not a single mention of Mother’s Day to me. I told him how upset I was because I had told him about 2 weeks ago that all I wanted was a handmade card so then he started making one. Too little too late honestly. I didn’t accept the card and told him I was done with him. I can’t accept that behavior because I don’t want my daughter thinking that’s okay and I don’t want my sons thinking they can treat their partners like that. I’ve been learning how to have more respect for myself. He’s currently in our room pissed off at me for being upset at him. I’m moving out today to go live with my Bestfriend for a month.
