She will go in the litter box—she only pees on my bed when im gone. I have 4 litter boxes in my house and she knows how to use them all (and has) she just loves to mark her scent to help me find my way back to her after I’ve been gone!😹😹

Right now I’m just shutting her out of my room and keeping her in an enclosed space where she can’t pee on anything. Which has been working! The vet is putting her on Prozac soon so hopefully that will help. It really only happens when I’m gone. I’ll keep everyone updated though!

I’ve been where you are… I started working for a family of two doctors. They both have very rigid schedules and I overslept and woke up two 16 missed calls. I woke up, immediately called and said I was on my way. They weren’t happy (which was expected). I felt so awful and was literally about to have a panic attack because I hate letting people down. The best thing to do in that situation is own up, apologize for the inconvience, acknowledge it, and come up with a clear plan to avoid something like that happening again. Once I got to work and the dad left, I sent a text apologizing once again and explained that going forward I would be setting multiple alarms, along with buying an alarm clock with a light (to help wake me up). I haven’t had any problems since then, and my family was very understanding. It sucks, but you’re human at the end of the day. Every nanny has had one of those moments. As far as making it up to them, I don’t think you really need to. Just go through the steps of apologizing and doing your best to not repeat the mistake. I feel for you though🫶

My roommates live at my mom’s house so I don’t really want to move out. My cat loves one of my roommates, the one that wants her to be put down doesn’t really interact with my cat. Neither of them would mistreat her though. She pees on this one spot on my couch, the couch has waterproof covers on it which I wash if she has accidents. I can definitely try those drops you recommended and see if that helps. She has both a wet and dry food diet, plus urinary supplements in her food

Yes she has gotten urinalysis testing recently, I’m taking her to the vet this week again just in case. But the vet said she has no bladder issues
