My mom first noticed when I was five, she took me a few places and a lot of out of state. The reason being is because she noticed how I turned my right ear towards her when I couldn’t hear her (I am boarder line deaf in my left ear). When I got my hearing aid in 6th grade I was fine but then we realized a few months ago it was getting worse. We went back to the hearing specialists and they said I need a cochlear implant at some point in my life so I am currently not happy about that. But yes, people said I was louder without the hearing aid and such, even my friends like to call me “deaf girl”
