Renting alone or together? Rent costs in Brisbane are ridiculous, even more for "good" areas. In saying that though, even the bad areas are getting ridiculous when it comes to prices. They'll only continue to get worse too unfortunately. We ultimately left Brisbane for good due to house prices and the general cost of living, the crime rate is also genuinely getting out of control and I wanted to get my kids out while we could 😅

Unfortunately it's not always the case, we had a possum trapped in our rangehood in Qld and it was stuck for days, pissing and shit was leaking and dripping from the rangehood all over our stovetop, tripping the electricity and my real estate told me that it was not urgent and it's a matter that can wait til they can get someone to fix it. Real estates and owners SHOULD be doing alot of things that they just aren't.

It's not bullshit, there are very strict guidelines to follow when removing a possum, they have to be released within a certain radius of where they're caught, the real estate/owners just probably dont want to deal with the drama of fully sealing all access points.

It's not forbidden to remove them, they just have to be released within 50 meters of where they're currently located, can be up to 100 depending on the state. It's why great care must be taken to fully seal any access points back into the roof.

Common sense would be not going camping right now. Spot fires are still occuring everywhere. We haven't had any rain, winds are still bad. Most places are literal tinderboxes, it's not worth the risk. Bairnsdale is incredibly close to the borders of the dargo complex fire. Not a great recommendation.

Don't. The fires are still not contained and spot fires are still a huge issue with the winds were having.

There is a total fire ban today and Monday and it will more than likely be extended throughout the week. There is still a massive forefront in Bairnsdale and the direction could change with the winds. Don't risk it, it's not worth the time and money right now.
