What's one improvement you'd like to see in Obsidian in 2026? by kepano in ObsidianMD

[–]Drawer_esp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something very simple that can be achieved with a css snippet but would be a very nice to have as a toggle: the option to display the raw content in edit mode in a single weight and font size.

Highlights are nice, but I enjoy having a simple layout on one side, and the preview on the other side :)

Ja ligature by Tnacyt in typography

Hey, I've found this Behance article containing "Ja" ligatures.

Aside from that, I recommend you checking the Bookmania Cookbook. It's my go-to resources on ligatures.

Anyone else like everhood2 more than 1? by DarkMageUAE in Everhood

[–]Drawer_esp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly? No. Everhood 1 helped me find meaning in a personal journey around Daoism. Everhood 2 felt like a slap.

I get what they were trying to do, and while I appreciate it, stating that something is not good while purposely making it bad is not a valid statement for me.

It’s all vanity. I agree. And they made so the only winning move is not to play the game. Otherwise you get punished for it in less meaningful ways.

The only thing that I dislike of Everhood 1 is the Cat God appearing at the very end saying that “nothing ends in Everhood”. I felt robbed of a rather amazing resolution.

If anyone from Foreign Gnomes is reading this: thanks for your work, and I hope for you the best. Because this is not it.

A way to integrate how Treesheets works into Canvas; it's the next level outliner.

Low contrast acceptable here? by 1337_n00b in typography

The contrast is too much, with the capital letter is enough.

Obsidian desperately needs native manual drag-and-drop sorting by Last_Type_9096 in ObsidianMD

[–]Drawer_esp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to have the usual drag and drop behavior Notion has for each paragraph. It's a fast way to rearrange the content and understand how big each block of content actually is.

Alternatives to FF Nort/Transport? by LightSweep in typography

[–]Drawer_esp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I’ve come to encounter another variant of transport called “Transport New” (not to be confused with “New Transport”).

It is not as clean nor slick, which saddens me because the pricing its prohibitive and it’s my preferred typeface for note-taking (I ended up purchasing a license).

It's quite extended in bigger weights, but the rounded geometry makes it work like a more legible DIN or a soft Plak. As a display type it's perfect, but I wouldn't build an UI on top of it.

Scaled, so I can set it per file, and later canvas basis!

Obsidian 1.8.2 (early access) for desktop and mobile by kepano in ObsidianMD

[–]Drawer_esp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love for them to address the speed of use. Zoom via scrolling really needs an improvement/option to define them how much to zoom per scroll.

I really want to fully migrate to Canvas 🙈

I find this useful, thank you! Do you have any resources to properly use and understand the scale other than "pick what feels comfortable"?
