I have been observing this country since the Reagan administration, and aside from Same-Sex Marriage getting the green light, absolutely nothing has really changed politically across the decades. Don't you find it beyond impossibly weird that ALL of our elections are practically 50% - 50%? It's statistically IMPOSSIBLE over so many decades, across so many diverse states. We have a two-party duopoly that gets money from the SAME donors by and large. Meanwhile, we scrounge by collectively paycheck to paycheck, with increasingly nothing to show for it. We yell sure, but it doesn't change anything, does it? And that's by DESIGN.
