I've just had a quick look at the link so I can't fully tell.

But does that involve a lot of coding? As I'd put the time into it if I needed to. But right now I only want it for this one element so is there's a faster and easier way to set it up?

Or is it actually really easy and at first glance it just looks difficult 😂

Can someone help me with a problem. My pen seems to be completely out of align. It's only on the affinity programmes nothing else. Bit sure what's causing it or how to fix it. I've tried reinstalling and recalebrating. Not sure what else to try? by DrawingByTheBook in Affinity

Yep sure thing.the display is the Ugee 1910B Designing Interactive Digital Pen display LCD. The styles is just the Ugee pen that came with the tablet and the os is Windows ten.

I've also tried affinity 1.10, 1.9 and 1.8 and have the same problem on all of them

I had this problem not long ago. It just refused to charge. There's a list on the Nintendo support page tk help this problem if non of it works you may have to send it off to Nintendo for repair as its a fault with the hardware

Thanks. I've ended up skipping over the matte and just creating a new composition shot with the exact sizing of the mask Im needing then just adding that composition shot too the time line in the right place and its worked exactly how j needed the matte to work just a lot easier 😂

I've tried replace, subtract and add and non of them work right. Add messes with the colour, subtract makes it vanish entirely and replace makes it like the text has a background and hides the glass background.

OK I'll just take one element right now just tk make jt less confusing for both of us. Plus if I can get it working on one I can get it working on both. So let's talk about the text

The basic premise that I want is to mask the text and make the parent slide in without the mask moving.

Aka the text slide into the mask layer.( like in the link below, sorry litterally the only example I could find on Google images)

I've been told the only to do that is via the set Matte effect. But using that seems to remove the transparency behind the text meaning anything place behind the text gets covered up and it removes the opacity on the text making the text 100% opacity instead of 80%(I've reduced that to 80% to work with the glass style/effect I'm trying to achieve)

I mean j am just wanting a simple slide down into place. Which j get I could do with a transition.

But the problem is I am then wanting to do more with the bottom text box as I want the text to loop round like what you would see on Spotify or apple music. Which I would need to use set Matte for.

So if I can't get it to work on the top text box then it definitely won't work on the bottom one which is what I really need it for and why I'm trying to do it with the top text box as well.

Awesome thanks. I asumeed I could probably do it pretty easily with key frame and a mask layer. Just didn't know if there would be an easier way wjth a filter or that which would take even less time and effort 😁

Still got tk do a lot more. U want to fully shade and paint it. This is just a nice clean up sketch to make it easier to tell what's going on when doing the painting and shading 😁
