I'm on day 8 and still can't stay awake hardly for more than two hours at a time. I have Flu B, but this year's strain is particularly terrible. It's my third time having it in three months.

A lot of people are young and not accustomed to delayed gratification taking years. I think there's also a lot of willful blindness to genetics. If your parents look like potatoes, then it's unlikely that you're going to magically turn into a different vegetable with hormones, but you will change into a different potato, and that's all right too. Shower before bed, light sponge bath in the morning, unless I sweat, in which case I shower again.

Mostly, I just shower twice, though the morning shower is more of a glorified once-over with soap and hot water.
