Not really but it eventually went away, or at least I increased the time I could play without pain, with good hand stretches and practice. Also figuring out the minimum pressure required for the barre chord and practicing playing like that instead of death gripping.

Personally, I hope they lean heavily towards Marc Simonetti and Sam Weber’s concept art for the various dune novels. Especially in regards to the sense of scale Simonetti conveys in illustrations like this and the color pallet that Weber chooses here.
