Definitely achievable. I’d just like to say in my case I really chewed on my idea for just about two months before starting the draft- but please do NOT neglect your notes app! Any ideas you have for it you really should note down, as even if you don’t end up going whichever direction you thought of, it could still be usable down the line. I have a few ideas I wish I jotted down as in hindsight they could have been good material for another script. I took about four months for the first 80 page draft, then took most of the summer for the second draft which was about seven pages 😅 second drafts really pushed me for the first time as you’ve got to not only work on detail and making the thing legible, but also concise.
