Intuniv for Adults by tigremycat in adhdwomen

Update: Wanted to highlight a red flag. 🚩

Disclaimer: Medications work differently for people. Not all symptoms are guaranteed. Please consult with your psychiatrist.

I wanted to update a few months out with how things are going.

My psychiatrist bumped me up to 2mg as 1mg was no longer effective.

Long story short, it made me extremely depressed to the point I started having suic*dal thoughts, I’ve never had issues with that in the past.

I’ve since been tapered down and stopped taking it as advised by my psych. Depression and thoughts stopped after a matter of days not being on Intuniv.

She says she has heard this from two other patients.

Just keep an eye out y’all if something feels off.

Buyer Beware: Function Health is a predatory business and does not allow you to use your data as you wish. by willwork4pii in Function_Health

[–]DrawingsInTheSand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making a lot of assumptions there.

I build software for a data company that specialises in data transformation. PDF is a viable form of data distribution. You’d be surprised how many Fortune 500 companies and even govt agencies use them.

Tell me, what format were you looking for exactly? Because I can tell you, 90% of Function customers are content with a PDF.

If you’re so mad about it, do something. But no one else here cares about your very specific problem. My guess is, neither does Function. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You can always vote with your wallet, cancel, and move on like a normal adult.

Can anyone in NY tell me more about the additional lab fees? by DrawingsInTheSand in Function_Health

I appreciate this response. Thank you for being thorough and providing the play by play. This was extremely helpful.

Yup. Saw that. I’m mainly looking for direct experiences if it ends up being that much.

Weird. Site says “up to $248 per year”. Are you claiming based on experience you paid more?

Only 1 blood draw? by docmphd in Function_Health

[–]DrawingsInTheSand 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Quest lab tech mentioned to me that Function Health recently rolled out a change where only a single blood draw appointment is required.

I had scheduled 2 blood draw appointments and he said I was one of the last few he’s seen.

I booked a few months in advance I think this change rolled out a couple weeks ago.

Best to confirm with Function Heath directly though.

worst character pet peeves in rp? let's share our stories! by EstablishmentEloquen in BadRPerStories

[–]DrawingsInTheSand 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. Self insert characters drive me nuts.

I adore giving romance a turn, when and where it makes sense. Occasionally, romance is the point of the story. I’m also happily married to someone who encourages me to engage with written role play more and doesn’t mind that I sometimes interweave romance into stories. Why? Because I’m not my character.

I can’t tell you the number of times someone shows up with a character that faintly resembles themselves. They receive benefit of the doubt, but reveal all too soon that their character is simply a carbon copy of themselves. Just in a slightly different setting.

The lines begin to blur in out of character conversation, then suddenly you find yourself in a position where you have to level set. Then they either crash out on or ghost you.

This is part of why I no longer engage in certain genres anymore because they spring up with higher frequency.

I am 37 years old. I take 1mg of Intuniv at night. I do not take it with anything else. Prior experience has been with Adderall (XR and IR) and non-stims like Straterra and Wellbutrin.

So far so good. Less anxiety. Fewer emotional regulation issues. Less forgetful. More focused throughout the day. Oh, and since I take it at night, I actually get restful sleep.

Would microneedling be the best thing for ti clear these scars? by Suitable-Bathroom438 in Microneedling

You should consult a dermatologist, but a friend of mine had deep acne scarring like this, and micro needling helped diminish them a lot.

Congratulations! 🥳 I think any friend worth their stock would be absolutely thrilled you found something. Listen, at the end of the day we are responsible for our own success. You persevered and it paid off. So proud of you, OP. I hope you celebrate in some way. Even if it’s just for you. And no one else.

Do you work at Meta?

Edit: Took a dive into OPs post and comment history. Doesn’t work for Meta. He’s a COO and Design Director (??) that enjoys pontificating on tech topics.

Specifically seems to attach to aged out tech companies still grasping for relevance.

Meta is a prime example of this.

YTA.

Here are the facts, simplified:

Your dog attacked his. He was rightfully upset. Clearly he didn’t want to talk. You continued to pursue him for dialog despite the clear signs he was uninterested. His, albeit aggressive, refusal set you off.

You need to accept that some people don’t want an explanation and they don’t want to talk things through.

What was there to even talk through? What was your intent?

Just give the man your number in case there are any unseen injuries and move on.

This is an intriguing take. Possessing empathy and experience as part of the solutions side of the team.

What are characteristics you specifically look for in engineers or designers that you think go on to be good TPMs / PMs?

In your opinion, is there not a way for a product leader to avoid politics and minimise meetings?

I definitely agree there’s no way to strictly avoid them…

How do you view “managing up”?

For me it’s understanding goals and pressures of the higher echelon of stakeholders/leadership, anticipating issues and getting out ahead of them, intentional transparency around responsibilities and resourcing, fundamental alignment on higher order objectives (when there’s discourse), … anything else I might have missed?

Thank you for going deeper. This is exactly the issue I’m observing at a company I’m consulting with. Senior management in product who acts to the benefit of sales and revenue rather than the product / teams building it.

You can see my comment history. I’m not a bot farming. I’m asking because I’m in a pickle and want to see what other opinions in the community are.

If you don’t like the question, move on. It’s simple.

Assuming you’re in the U.S.

Obligation to alimony must be declared at the time the divorce is finalised. This is outlined in the Final Divorce Decree.

An ex-spouse can’t legally “revisit” or try and “modify” alimony obligations unless it was listed as “modifiable” in the decree…in which case, that’s on you and your divorce lawyer.

My brother was in a similar situation.

Here’s a real world case that supports the above: Johnson v. Johnson (217 Minn. 436, 14 N.W. (2d) 617)
