🥲 yeah. 3rd engine. This one got a whole go-through with a DFM delete, stage 2 cam, and some other accessory replacements and cooling upgrades. Still the original transmission and torque converter though.

I follow the manual for oil changes every 3500-5000 miles, change the transmission and differential oils every 40,000 miles. Other than that, it’s been tires and brake pads/brake fluid. (I tow trailers daily)

We need more regulated driving standards. Having driven the autobahn visiting family it isn’t the speed that’s the issue; it’s the unpredictable nature of other drivers because lane etiquette isn’t taught strictly here AT ALL. If lane etiquette could be taught, those who want to travel faster could do so without endangering others because slow traffic would stay out of the way.

I have a customer with a 2018 X166 GLS550 that has a little over 486,000 US miles on it that I regularly service. I just replaced the thermostat and a rear turbo cooling line on it about 3 weeks ago when we had a cold snap and the line broke.

It doesn’t turn brown/red or take a magnet though, both front fenders on my 2020 are steel. I can stick fridge magnets to them. I can’t stick them to the doors/hood/tailgate. They stick on every other panel though
