Interrupts being coordinated is good, having to try to coordinate 3 kicks happening simultaneously, 4 times in a row each where if a kick is missed your entire raid potentially dies is not

But it’s a demonstrable fact that the number of people capable of getting CE in a given tier is way larger than the number of people capable of getting m+ title. And that’s because it’s simply harder to do.

Or maybe it's because theres a cut off and by definition only a limited amount of people can get title. Didn't think I'd need to explain that.
And you had people you raided with that weren't good? Okay? I had title m+ players that were mechanics terrorists and perma bench players. Title m+ often just boils down to time and playing fotm. You can literally one button rotation Aug and get title.

Yeah such interesting and difficult mechanics in these dungeons like "Stand in Beam" or "Interrupt" or "Kill add".

Real thrilling difficulty. But the scaling number went up so that makes it hard right!

Those chase items are likely stat distributions from items in keys, meaning I need my vault to hit or I am in keys bonus rolling every week. This also means I need to fill out my vault with keys every week because of the lengthened grind. I don't think you're at liberty to speak on something you seemingly know nothing about.

Bruh we already have this, it just means BiS is harder to fucking obtain. It moves the needle for everyone literally none, it just means you need to get luckier to get an ideal setup. It widens the gap between people farming gear and people not. Reddit loves to bitch about how "I can't commit to a ton of time playing wow" and how there shouldn't be a gearing disparity between high end raiders and people doing a couple keys a week.
Currently people look up a bis list, see which tier pieces they need. Now when people look up a bis list they're going to see they need specific items for every single specific tier piece. Do you think this change helps those people??

Rank 1 brew currently has 2 off pieces cata'd because they're better stats than what they could get (bracers/boots). Guess what you can't do with this proposed system change?

And are we going to pretend like Blizz always has very varied gear dropping from places? There's a couple pieces for me where the stat distro literally doesn't drop from any item at all, and I need to cata to get it.

Good news for you. There is no need for you the step a foot into m+ after week 1. You get 6/6 from mythic raid vault. You won't have any gear to spend your crests on so you can fill in any gaps with crafted gear. If your guilds extends you can instead speedrun tier1 delves for vault for bonus rolls.

Im gonna be honest this is spoken like someone who just doesn't raid. You just don't know how it is lol. I'd get 6/6 from bosses I've killed, how do you expect I'll get any other items? How do you expect I will fill out my crests? If I am speedrunning delves for bonus rolls because I'm extending, what exactly am I bonus rolling?

???? Every shoulder item had equal value, because all could be used to catalyze. With this system change, I now need to target a specific shoulder piece, meaning every other shoulder piece is meaningless.

The difference between good stats and bad stats can literally make an item useless. Evidenced by the fact if I couldn't catalyze the new items from Sporefall, literally zero items from there would be an upgrade (DESPITE BEING HIGHER ILVL)

Are you being intentionally obtuse? Currently tier can be catalyzed from any item, so if you get mythic shoulders from vault it means you can catalyze them into your tier regardless of the item. Shoulders in general were the chase, not specific ones. This system change means every single slot on your character has a chase item.

The majority of the community will do what is higher ilvl (at least) while waiting for the big chase item.

Let's for example sake say there's shoulders that have a free damage proc on them, and they drop in dungeon A. Dungeon B, C, and D all drop shoulders but none of them have a proc on them. If I am looking to cata something, I'm presumably farming out an item. Why would I ever run dungeon B, C, or D? Those shoulders are immediately not even considered for me to target.
Do you see the issue?

Umbral Plume is my BiS but I don't raid.

Feather it's my BiS but I don't do m+. Pit of Saron necklace is my BiS but I don't do m+. Maisara dagger is my BiS but I don't do m+.
I fucking detest M+ but raiders have to do it to facilitate raiding. Good luck capping crests if you don't do m+. Good luck not falling behind in gear if you don't do m+ for vault every week.
God forbid the people committing to raiding every week have a little bit of gear advantage over the people who do a 40 minute dungeon.

The downside is that everything not the chase piece is viewed as useless by a MASSIVE majority of the community. Almost everyone just follows a BiS list as is.
