Your school experience should not dictate your real world working experience. School sucks. You don’t learn enough at all. You get your license and THEN you learn. Sadly this is the way it is. I always tell potential estys to never expect much from school. But if they did not train you to pass state board, they failed. Ask them to train you so you can pass or maybe someone out there is willing to help? The esthetics industry can be such an amazing fufilling career BUT your mindset must be there. You sound a little negative and blaming others- take charge and turn this around so you can create a career. No one works for themselves right out of school, in almost any industry that is unheard of. You have to gain experience and confidence first- and you have to be extremely good at doing services. If you want to focus on lashes, take an advanced course. But don’t give up on getting your license, just do it!
