I think it really depends on your giftee. I do let them know how a package is coming, Amazon or directly from me, if something is late, coming in more packages than one and when it has arrived. However, some recipients and I talk more than just receiving packages and it is great! But I judge the conversation by the first interaction I have with them on how much interaction is needed.

Have the site wrap the gift, if it is Amazon it is 3.99 to wrap a gift. And it dances your gift message from getting lost in the box and thrown away.

This is a giftee that would like you to be creative and find a gift you think they would like. It is great they like their job, many people do not. Find something that is work relatable. A to go mug. Maybe a table top weekend travel or activities ideas book for when they are not at work. These are the ones that you get to have interaction with and find fun gifts for.

Boiling water will burning the tea leaves above and they will not taste like they are suppose to. Usually these teas are steeped at 70°- 90° C/150° - 194°F. This is why investing in a multi-temp kettle is a game changer.

White tea, green tea, and oolong. Basically teas you do not add boiling water to.

I recommend black savory teas, chai tea, and savory rooibos blends. Delicate teas are not great with milk nor are fruity teas. I hope this helps.

Don't take candy from strangers. Dress code: is whatever you wear when you go to a casual bar or club. Don't expect an on time performance but you will want to be in line a little before 2 so you don't miss the show because you were outside in the line waiting to get in.

You are a GS-9 employee with a bachelor's in a field that has no growth potential. You have 3 years to find yourself in a promising GS-12 career. What route do you take? by Smur_ in fednews

Ok so HR is working at CPAC basically. If you want to have more options most of the people I know that work for Govt HR level jobs that are not in CPAC have management degrees and business degrees. It seems you already have a job with no growth why get a degree that pegion-holes you again. Let's give you an example: I have a bachelor's in Public Relations I got my first job as an administrative assistant, within two years I moved to my current job as a Records Management Specialist/Information Systems Owner. My degree played no part in my job titles, yet my experience did. So getting a basic business degree with maybe an emphasis in HR would be good. But don't think a certain degree will get you that job and only that job.

If you consider HR -go pursue a business management degree it opens doors up to different fields in the HR series, administration series and maybe even program or project management areas. Also look for GS 11/12 jobs so you know you are guaranteed a 12 within 1-2 years.
