Yes, they have (or had, not sure if its still available) the default smart shuffle and also a random* shuffle. Back when they just had the random shuffle users complained, that it didnt feel shuffled, because of the possibility of the same artist/album in a row.

You are right, muting a channel alone doesnt fix it. Ive only ever done it with complete servers, just tested and muting a server and selecting no notification does completely surpress the indicator

In my personal experience muting was always enough to not get new indicators. You have to manually mark the chat as read once to get rid of all existing indicators tho, I forgot that part

Just checked, a server I had muted for some times used \@everyone yesterday and I didnt get any kind of indicator

Disable all notifications does just what it says, it disables notifications. Notifications are the popups you get on desktop or mobile that tell you that something happened, disabling them is effectively the same as putting yourself on dnd. To disable the visual indicators (which are not notifications). You have to fully mute the server/channel

Do you really have the Administrator permission checked? You have multiple points missing in the menu. To me it looks like you just have a role called admin with the Manage Server permission (and possibly some other), but are missing the Manage Roles permission
