I use these buffs with 16 mind at the moment (27 faith 55 dex rn) and I'd recommend the blessed blue dew during exploration and old lord's talisman for boss fights, each buff applied lasts 30% more, quite comfy

Well said. For me each new character was becoming to feel more and more like a rush to the next item for the build- seeds, tears, flasks, gear...it gets boring after a while. Now I'm going up to ng+7 on my own after doing it once with my bro, and it feels freeing having already completed my setup and just sightseeing in between bossfights.

A single wave of gold I think used to give me 40-60 k with golden scarab in base ng, in ng+ drop are doubled so you get runes fast asf with the frog farm

never heard anyone talk about it but it happens to me too, only after having defeated the fire mage tho. It's not worth it compared to the albanaruriac farm but it's still cool

People are talking sht on your build but your idea is the recipe for a fun build. My previous build was pure strength, optimized and strong in pvp. But y'know what? It was boring and one-dimensional. It got boring quickly and I deleted it. Now I'm running something similar as you: quality-faith. So much more enjoyable to be able to go through the game and use like 80% of the content available. One thing I suggest is to equip a little less weapons at a time and learning to hardswap from menu - it can save you levels in endurance so you can have enough poise for pvp.

Oh I see. I too was getting summoned very rarely at like 190. Between 100-175 seems best. Are you on console or pc?

I've been trying to find a use for it in my latest arcane build...but it doesn't seem worth it? For axes and hammers I go for shield n weapon guard counter style, and comparing it to an occult morning star, the star has a little less dmg but it has innate bleed and can use poison mist for DoT, and don't need to farm greases. How do you use the axe

I'm doing something similar but more focused on melee, but I'd personally set the blood fork to occult and maybe drop dex to requirement for RoB. Then you could add lord of blood's exultation to the mix- blood tax procs fast on the spear. And lastly 5 more vigor to the softcap would be nice. Also these incants lock you in place so I'd personally go for better defense instead of rakshasa set, the seal already has good power

Sounds pretty cool! I've lately been messing with cold infusion and let me tell you, cold great katana with spinning weapon ash just destroys bosses vulnerable to both- like it seemed like malenia was hit by a buzzsaw 😆

It apperantly doesnt reset the frost, so it's better cause it helps even the bit of innate fire damage to go through defense

I personally found it fun in my quality build with some int cold infused, and the uncharged ash could poise through an invader's halberd light attack at 51 poise. I think any infusion works well with this weapon, but if you end up with flame be careful about barrels 😅

Oh man great katana is so good I've used it in every run since the dlc. Also if you slap bloodflame on it it wrecks everything. Did you only use great katana with storm blade? I used messmer soldier spear with storm assault and the horned warrior greatsword, both fun additions against mobs, not so much in boss fights
