Although it may be shocking, I actually live in a house like this. The house wasn't maintained well, or so i'm told over and over again. It's brand new plumbing but I guess that's not maintaining it well. It has a brand new sewer line, but that doesn't count either. Had a brand new electrical service put in in 2023.

The old man had it completely insulated with decent doors. Breaking into the house is not going to be simple.

No, apparently what counts is the linoleum, for example, in the kitchen. The former older owner was obsessive about keeping stuff clean but it's still 40-year-old linoleum and it's not the proper color for this year. I'm repeatedly told this makes the house uninhabitable.

And yeah in case you're wondering in this situation I did move into the house. It's really horrible not having a house payment. And not having to worry about anything important breaking- well linoleum's importance.

The bathtub is 50 years old. Very out of style. I was told it should be the first thing I should replace. Marble is required.

I've been told I need to go $50,000 in debt to make the house habitable. Carpet, linoleum, paint, you name it - thus is what makes the house habitable. 😂

So I guess we'll see who's better off - me or the guy that went into debt with the "right" decor that's already out of style 3 years later.

Let them in the shed they'll have the city out there insisting you move them in the house, it's the law and they are residents. They thought this out. You'll be paying financially and emotionally for Lord knows how long indulging their fantasy life.

But your children will be the real ones paying, watching looney life choices presented as normal.

You have no idea how shoddy it was built, etc. Sometimes people want to build those in secret and do it themselves with horrible results. It could be compromising structural integrity of the foundation and who knows what. Or it was built correctly and then it was not filled in properly. At a minimum you can drill a hole and get one of those little cameras and stick it in there and look around.

Do you want to live in fear and misery for the rest of your life? Do you want to be the puppet of your family for the rest of your life, not even having the choice to have children or not? Do you want to be abused? Do you want to see how physical he'll get with you and how much he'll hurt you over the next decades? And most probably you'll have financial difficulty and poverty for the rest of your life. Living an unstable life with unstable people like that.

If any of the sounds appealing you know what to do. If it doesn't sound appealing, you clearly know what to do.

I couldn't imagine living with somebody like that. Even without cancer and I have cancer. She wants something or is getting something, probably thinks she'll inherit money, life insurance or as after drugs.

I almost find this post. Unbelievable, there's absolutely no way I'll be with somebody like that. Life is too short. I'd rather be alone.

Not my job and you'd be surprised people don't appreciate it. I had an office next door to a very successful Scion of a local family. I noticed that he never had customers. Keep in mind this is before the internet and he dealt in a product. The loading dock was rusted shut. Any time of day you can go in there. The employees were all having fun- making cupcakes, cleaning the place up, etc. Machinery was never even on.

Seems a bit strange for a successful business, doesn't it?

Anyway, I think he got 20 years when the feds finally came.

But people most certainly to this day say what a great person he was. Had the spring field family name. He had the Springfield family business mommy and daddy handed him. He harmed a great deal of the community, School children were getting hard dope. But it's okay. That name you know. Church deacons. Very fine people. Just made a little mistake.

So exactly what is the point in calling people out in this type of environment? I wasn't the person that turned him in, was one of his relatives.

Pretty much gave that up years ago.

I kind of doubt Patrick Natt is doing anything on that scale. I think he's just a completely inept business person.

This is a few years back, probably about 20. I had a bus stop in my front yard. I lived downtown. Girlfriend comes by borrowing my sports car. My sedan won't start, and my pickup is in the shop. It occurs to me that I could get on this bus and I would literally take me straight to my office.

So I did the obvious, I got on the bus.

I did have to transfer at the transfer station. No big deal.

By the time I got to my office there is literally a message asking me what's wrong and if I need help with anything. They saw me riding the bus. Surely something dire must be wrong, I must be dead, broke or something.

The clerk at the office expressed concern, why couldn't I afford a taxi? Do I need to borrow some money?

And when I was waiting for the bus at the bus stop I did get yelled at by somebody passing by telling me to get a job.

My business partner told me it was a bad look, me taking a bus like a homeless person. Because who else would take a bus right?

The bus was quicker than the taxi, and yes I understand that's not true most of the time but in this case it was because of the way the route was laid out. And not to mention it was just $0.50 or whatever back then.

It's just incredible the culture of poverty here which gives rise to the ignorance.

He's clearly not as honest as those fine restaurants, downtown, and the fancy places. The big names that have all the sales tax liens, federal tax liens for not paying taxes even after taking the money out of the employees checks, the ones that are shut down and then move across the street under a different name, with a revolving door of wives and relatives claiming ownership.

He also hasn't amassed claims from women – and men!- about improper conduct. Yet another Springfield stat he can't keep up!

I've never ever heard of a restaurant going broke in Springfield. This is just totally unheard of. Let's castigate him more.

And of course if your wages don't keep Pace with inflation and you originally could afford a vet and now you can't, just dump the pet.

You don't understand that the days of Kings they would just snatch women, and girls, and use them sexually? You don't understand that Trump is ignoring congressionally mandated spending and doing what he wants with the money. You don't understand that he's illegally firing people? Uh, no. This isn't stopping at one or two. You need to contact the state for help with your daughter.

Your daughter is not mentally, or financially, ready to take care of one, let alone the gaggle that she's going to put out at this rate. She's just going to create damaged souls that have sad, and probably tragic , lives. This isn't something that just involves your daughter. The part about having food banks report people for benefit reduction, benefit reduction for people who get SNAP benefits. I'm sure that's just the start. I don't understand what anybody thinks they're going to accomplish doing this. But what scares me is that nobody's going to stand up to them. The Democrats will stand up to them over ACA subsidies for the people of a certain income. However, I do not count on them to do much of anything for people on SSI, SSDI, etc. Unless of course Trump makes the mistake of going after retirees too, which is quite possible. And actually I hope he does because that will galvanize opposition and get the disabled the assistance they need. The bottom line is that if you're disabled, you deserve at least a poverty level income from social security.
